How long should a child be at a party?

Do you think it is OK for children to stay at parties until 11pm.I know I don't allow my 13 year old son to. Do you think kids should stay at parties that late.I know they have a curfew and will get a ticket if they are out to late.What is your opinion on this topic because I don't know if I should allow it.

At that age, the only way that I would allow it is if it was an overnight party and there were chaperones there. Other than that, I think 9-10 is the latest that I would let my child stay at a party.
Here, there is an under 16 curfew that is city wide, but it is only enforced if the minor in question is not accompanied by an adult. And, my daughter is allowed to stay out with her friends until 9:30 when it isn't a school night, 7 when it is a school night, but she is a bit younger.
