Is Pitbull's I Know You Want Me better than BEP's Boom Boom Pow?

There are two hip songs that sweep the music market today: Pitbull's I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) and Black Eyed Peas' Boom Boom Pow. Which do you think is cooler and better? Why? For me, I'd say I Know You Want Me is more exciting to listen to. Pitbull's energy is unbeatable and the music video's just awesome, with all those hot ladies dancing around. Boom Boom Pow is great but it's been overused. I Know You Want Me's the new trend.

Oh my. This is a really hard question to answer - because to be honest I really don't like EITHER of those two songs! (I like the next hit of BEP much better - "I got a feeling" - listen to it! It's good.) I guess I would have to agree with you about the Pitbull song though. But honestly - the lyrics are pretty lame and repetitive. But the beat/music is much more catchy than in "Boom Boom Pow". So I would have to say Pitbull's too.

I don't think either of them are quality songs. But I do happen to like both of them, I happen to like Boom Boom Pow better for the simple fact that it puts me in a good mood.

If I had to choose on of them I would have to go with Pitbull, even though both of the songs have just been played out. They play the songs way too much. I really dont like BEP anyways, Im not really liking there style and Pitbull just has more energy and better songs.

Here in the US both songs have been overplayed. So unfortunately I can't pick either. I agree with the post above that BEP's new song is much better. Happy listening!
