How do you define acting black or acting white.

I don't think you can define it because I think "acting black" and "acting white" are stereotypes and are figments of our imaginations. I think everyone acts different; and we can't sum up a whole race just by what a few people from that category do. I think the common stereotype is that acting "white" is similar to acting very "suburban", preppy, "valley-girl-esque", pop-listening-to, dumb, rich, etc. And I think the stereotype for acting "black" is acting ghetto or "hood". I don't personally believe those are true but I think that's the stereotypes that people consider when deciding what's "acting black/white".
