We want to buy laptop?

I strongly recommend getting a Dell, which from what I've heard are available in India. They come in wide price range so figure out how much you can afford and get the best that you can with that amount. When I had problems with my dell I first got a used IBM laptop, and after a year gave up on it. So then I bought a new Acer laptop and had it for few months until it broke and couldn't be fixed even after a couple of months being sent from one repair site to another. Because what should have been minor damage to the screen was my fault it wasn't covered by warranty, and even replacing the screen didn't fix the computer. So...a friend at church worked on my old dell laptop and got it working quite fine again. So I'm using a 7 year old dell laptop and am quite happy with it.

Well.. in India the best brand I suggest is Dell.. though I am using sony vaio.. if you want to buy laptop between 30k-55k Dell is preferable.. and if you want to spend 40k-65k HP will be more better. and if you want to spend 50k-90k Sony is the best. and I suggest you if you are not computer person/software person. You can go for 3 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD, and core 2 duo processor (2.0 GHz) in Dell - you can buy Studio series mostly studio-15 in Sony - CS series is good as per price vs quality ratio in HP - you can get various models with different configuration. HP is having heating problem as most of us in India not using AC while using laptop..

it is difficult to suggest a laptop for price,brands and configuration among that one available only in india...i don't know which models in india are came out and which one they will come..mmh anyway good luck for your new laptop!!

Hai, I am using a Sony Vaio laptop. Which I bought from India. It good for my purpose. Also I would like to suggest you DELL laptops if your budget is less and needs are high.If your budget is OK and needs are somewhat high then go for Sony Vaio CS model. Which I am using.
