Should Google Create Their Own Operating System To Compete With Microsoft?

Google is the best company that could pull such a thing off as they have plenty of funds to do so. Its just they would have to get the support of computer companies. It would actually give Microsoft competition. For all I know Google could end up buying Microsoft years from now. Hey they already got their own browser.

I think they have one coming but I'm not sure if it's only for netbooks. Even if that's the case, the next step would be for PC's.

theres no competition anyway. either way it would still be a monopoly.

it's not whether ot not they should, it's whether or not people will buy it. Some will be interested in something new, others (like myself) will stick with windows, and others will stick with Mac, and whatever else is available. This may work, it may not. The only thing they can do is try.
