Do you enjoy life?!

I from time to time question life and it's meaning. However I always come back to the answer that is you make your own meaning in life! I have recently been able to only come up with one real meaning for myself which is HAPPINESS!!! Has anyone else come to this conclusion too? Have any of you come to a different conclusion? And most importantly do you practice this conclusion (I find this to be most difficult)

i try to enjoy life as much as i can. however it seems kind of hard too lately... its hard to enjoy life at times but its best to always try and over them fast so you don't waste your time being mad, sad or angry over things because life is short.. and when you spend it not being happy.. then its time wasted.

You're right, life is too short to be wasted on the small things that aggravate us. Glad to see that I'm not the only one with this philosophy. ;D

I believe that life is what we make of it. If we think only of the bad thing's we can't enjoy life at all. Where if we sit back, relax and look at the sunset's, and the sunrise every day we can enjoy life. I try to live every day as though it were the last. I also see, myself enjoying even the smallest thing's in life including the little tiny ant's, and how they know when a storm is coming by building there hole's up higher, before the rain come's. It's the little thing's in life that make life what it is. All of these little thing's make me happy.

I do the same thing. I find that being outside, in nature can really calm the chaotic world of your mind and troubles. Taking a walk at dusk is my way of relaxing at the end of the day. =D

Honestly I do enjoy life. I am healthy, happy and there is so much in my life to be happy about. I decided to not focus on the negative things in life and not to focus on what I wish I had in life but feel blessed for the things that I do have. I am honestly blessed and I couldn' be happier. Sure I wish somethings were different but sometimes we need to be patient for things.

Happiness means a lot of different things to different people. To me, it may be a flat screen TV, to you it may be a day with your family. It just depends. I do try to enjoy life. I have this discussion with my husband often because it seems like he's just counting the minutes until the next thing happens, never taking time to stop and smell the roses, if you will. I tell him to just be happy wherever he is, but he just can't seem to manage. I try to be happy all the time, but of course, that is rediculous. Anyone that tells you they are happy ALL the time is either lying or insane. lol.

I agree, if you're happy all the time you're either lying or doing the thorzene shuffle XD. I find that the best way to confront this is to do exactly what you said, wake up and smell the roses and enjoy every moment. There's wisdom to be gained from every experience.
