Clogged Arteries

My brother just went to the hospital with a really bad head ache. He was not feeling very well at all. He had had surgury for his heart before and we got worried. The doctor did a MRI and when the results came back it said he had clogged arteries in the heart and and clogged artery in the brain. That is really all I know. I am scared for my brother and not sure what is going to happen. They sent him home today. I am really wondering if they can fix him and make it so he is better. I am worried he will have a stroke. It scares me to death. I don't want him to die but it sounds really serious. I don't understand why they sent him home. I thought he would have to have surgery. I need to know if he is going to be ok.

I am not sure what they will do but I felt the same wya when my dad had blood clots in his legs. They put him on blood thinnner that he may have to stay on the rest of his life. It may be the same thing for your brother. Do you know if they even suggested surgery?

I am very sorry to hear about your brother. I know you are worried about him. I would be too. I am not sure why they sent him home like that. Did they schedule him for more tests or another visit? I hope so, so they can find out what to do to correct the problem.
