Plaxico Gets Jail Time

Well, the news is out football fans. Plaxico Burress, the former New York Giants wide-receiver, took a plea bargain. He agreed to two years imprisonment followed by two years probabtion. In the future, I guess he won't carry an unlicensed, concealed weapon now, will he? Sorry, I know it sounds a little harsh, but he deserved some sort of punishment. Some will argue that this is a stiff penalty, but I think it sounds just right. What do you think? Do you agree with the sentencing? What do you think about his career prospects afterwards? I totally agree with this sentence and I am a huge Giants fan. I wish Michael Vick was prohibited from playing football. There has to be greater consequences for these thugs. Football has to clean up its act. Too many players are out of control off the field. Our kids look up to these players. We need to have the players worthy of their hero status.
