Ok myLotters, I've gotta question for you. It's concerning the allergy Eczema, which I have never had before. What's strange for me is that anyone who I have talked to (to get an opinion on what was once a mysterious rash knew someone who had it when they were younger. I'm 21, any opinion as to why it just started now? It's on my arms, knees, and even my feet. My mother had mentioned that was unusual and while I am an unusual person it's really weird that it just started at age 21.

I don't think it's something that starts as you're a kid.. I started getting it when I was 16, and now I get it off & on during the winter-time. I think it's because of the change in season, coldness, and "chaffing" - that causes it for me. Otherwise it could be from stress, which is why my sister gets outbreaks of it..Like once a week. lol. Yikes. You should see a dermatologist about it (and get a prescription ointment)- or at the very least, go buy some thick "moisturizing" lotion - that usually helps me. Good luck!

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. As I have said, my aunt is an RN. She actually advises against moisturizing lotions. Soothing lotions with Aloe have helped me and I do have a prescription cream... the thing that concerns me is that it seems to be spreading/moving to various place of my body. I was actually talking to my aunt yesterday and she said it might not be eczema anymore because of how it's spreading. But thank you again for your response!
