I just took a certification exam for investments a few hours ago and the results won't be in until 2weeks from now. It was truly an awful exam. I reviewed for several days (2weeks to be exact) and yet I felt that some of those questions were too objective and only a robot could memorize those. Anyhow, what was the last examination you took and what was the toughest exam ever? One accountant in our group even said it was beyond board exams! out of 35, usually only 2 could pass.

The recent exam I have taken is a bank probationary officer exam. It was quite tough when compared to other objective type exams. But I think I have fared well in the exam. There were negative marks for the wrong answers given. Therefore we had to be over-cautious while answering the questions. The results are not yet declared. Let's hope for the best.

Dont listen to anyone. Some people like to psych people out. It makes them feel good. Its kind of like a right of passage. I am in school now as well. I am doing Cosmetology as well as some specialty classes. I have a test everyday. I am doing good so far. The other day I missed a test. From what I gather everyone had to do a retake because they flunked. I got a 100% on the first try. The others were pissed. The green eyed monster reared its ugly head. I must admit it felt good. Soon you'll know what I mean. Those results are going to be screaming YOU DID IT! I'll be routing for you. Please let me know what happens. dl

I know how stressful that is. I had to take a certifiaction exam for medical coding. The exam time was 5 hours. I finishged with an hour and a half left so I went back over some answers. I took practice exams and reviewed for weeks before the exam. I came out of the exam with a splitting headache. The first couple of days I was just happy it was over with and didn't have much thought of if I had passed or not. After about a week I started to feel the stress build. Some people in my class had already received their results. After another week I still did not get my results and by this time the rest of my class did. I started to panic becasue I thought this was a bad sign. I called the company that does the exams and classes. They had on record that my results were sent out a week and a half earlier. They were resending my results. That afternoon I received a follow up e-mail letting m know it was sent out. At the end of the e-mail, the woman had posted my credentials. So I had finally found out that I had passed the exam. I was so relieved. I was worried about running out of time. I knew what my weak points were. So I spent some extra time reviewing those. There were alos a couple of questions that I didn't think had the correct answer to. The exam was multiple choice. I challenged it. I'm not sure how that turned out though. I remember getting stressed out in high school for those exams. Those were nothing compared to this. Good luck to you. Try to get some relaxation. After exams like these, you need to pamper yourself a bit.
