Being High on life is way more important that making lots of money. Have you noticed that most people who are working hard at attaining money spend most of their time eating, crapping, sleeping, breathing, thinking about money. Most people who usual have money come to them easily are the poeple who are enjoying their life and are actually making money living life!

Hi, GypsyDad! I think the only time money is really important is when we don't have enough to cover the bills. Beyond that, it can be wonderful, but it isn't really important. Loving your life beats it by a mile!

Does anyone still try to keep up with the Joneses in this terrible economy? I don't care about others' lifestyles. I know how I want to live, and that's all I really need to know.

A problem with money today is that it induced competition. Competition pits neighbours against each other, in most cases anyhow.

Hi there, i think that happens because of the simple fact that money would allow you you to have all materials things that a person would want. And sometimes, money could put you in the influence, in power, in fame. Money can do lots of things. It can sure change lives. But for me, we need money, we have to have money but that doesn't mean that i put my confidence in money and it will never be the source of my happiness. Imagine if money is our source of money and the time will come that we will run out of money. Will it mean we can't be happy. I also believe that all the best things in life are free.

So basically, money is just a tool for living...like a sledge hammer is to breaking cement?

Yes, a tool for living. But others are blessed with more and its a really good thing. But our happiness shouldn't be based on how much we have.
