Is this site a scam?

August 23, 2009 4:03pm CST
I was on my Facebook site and saw an ad on the side bar advertising free mobile upgrades. As my current phone doesn't charge up properly I thought I'd take a look. It redirected me to a web site: www.worryfreemobiles.co.uk I'm NOT trying to advertise them on here, I would just like to know if anyone has heard of this site, used it and whether this is a scam site or not. Please let me know if you know anything about it

This site looks interesting. Is it new? Do you have any idea. But why can't I see any forum link? That speaks for the site..

I don't know if the site is new. They call themselves Premier Upgrades. The site Facebook linked me to is below... http://www.worryfreemobiles.co.uk/upgrade/index.jsp

never give out your bank details and address online. If u have bad credit then u will not get a contract phone. you can get a pay monthly/free mins on Pay as u go with some network and phones are so cheap nows a day, you can pick up a decent touch screen phone for less than £80 so why get a contract, do u really need one?

I've read the FAQs and they all seems to point to the fact that it'll be a contract phone. You could always register and then if you get to a point that asks for money then stop and you'll no it's a scam/just for contracts

Hi, Bit concerned because registration asks for a lot of personal and bank details before going to any page which shows what phones/contracts they have on offer or - indeed - thy can accept your custom...
