Who wishes they had one? And what have you personally wanted to dislike? I know that I have wanted to dislike peoples status, and also A LOT of applications!

I've seen a group for wanting to add the "dislike" button on Facebook. I'm hoping they never install that negative feature on Facebook - ever! On Yahoo Answers, the thumbs down feature is sooooo abused. Perhaps because we don't know who gave us the thumbs down or for what reason - we can be anonymous on our thumbs downs. But with Facebook, we would know - and it would probably cause a lot of hurt feelings. If someone doesn't like a status or application in Facebook, there are plenty of opportunities to say so in a comment. Thumbs downing is just plain rude, in my opinion.

That is sooo true! A lot of people have abused the thumbs down button in Yahoo. Like you, I'm hoping that they never put a Dislike Button in Facebook. This would defeat having and being in a social-networking site.

I'm good without a Dislike or Unlike button. I just ignore a status, an app, or a quiz if I don't like it. I think it would hurt another person if someone would say that he or she disliked his or her status.Ö

I agree, i think it is rude to be upfront about not liking someone else's posts. The best you could do is ignore it. After all, if it appears on your homepage, then that implies this person is your friend, so why go such trouble?

That's true. And I think Facebook would like to promote camaraderie most of all. Your friends might get a bit sensitive and feel bad if a friend suddenly says that he or she dislikes something this person has posted.

my bros girl friend went and deleted one of her ex's from being her friend. cause she didn't want him there. i don't bother, with most of the applications just look and go out.
