 I just had a baby and was in the hospital for a few days. The food, of course, was definitely not top notch tasty - what do we expect out of hospital food. But if these types of facilities are supposed to keep you healthy, why don't they serve healthier foods?

 Oh gosh, I'm sorry you had to go through that growing up, geminikid. I wonder if that happens to more boys than girls. I definitely was not a playground bully - I was the short, shrimpy girl. I was teased a lot, but I can't quite say I was bullied.

 Wow! Well, thanks for responding . . . it's quite possible others have thought the same as you . . . and I'm glad I reached at least one Freecycler out there! I'm sure you are grateful for the treasures we find on Freecycle . . . it's just nice to acknowledge the people who have donated to the cause. |

 Awww, that's wonderful! Congrats on your first one - you're halfway there!! It's so nice when the father jumps in and communicates with his little one . . . I love that special bonding time.  Seems we don't get paid to do these myLot quizzes . . . so I think a lot of people here probably don't waste their time doing them. I see these quizzes on Facebook and I admit to taking some of them. So if myLot quizzes are like those - nah - there's no point in doing them. |

 I've never done a "food" exchange party like this, so it will be interesting! At least it can be enjoyable - who doesn't like good "sweets"? It's better than exchanging or spending money on useless gifts or spending money . . . we can all have a snack and share the company. Thanks arun2009 . . . cheers to you! |

Hey, bar cookies is the PERFECT idea - cool - thank you!! I have a preschooler and now a newborn . . . I have my hands full and boy, doing bar cookies would save ALOT of time (and hand work!). You definitely sound like the cookie pro![em]thumbup[/em] |

 I really should choose not to hang out with these type of friends . . . but it's hard. It's the other good stuff that make up for their bad planning habits - but still it's no excuse to lead people on about plans. If anything, I guess I'll still keep the friendship, but continue rolling my eyes about getting together with them. It is highly irritating. |

Ah, playgroup moms - good example of where these type of "friends" can be found. I know a few moms like that too . . . they say they'll come, but then they don't. I remember the last time that happened, I was so worried about one mom and her daughter as she told me they would be there the night before. So when we finally received contact, she just said "sorry, we had a bad morning". Hmmmm. |
