I'm about 6-7 weeks pregnant of my 3rd. But almost everyday I found some brown spots in my pants. I this pregnancy is weak and I'm afraid what it'll do to the baby. Will my baby be weak too after delivery? Does anybody ever heard about this? Thanks.

Maybe there is some truth in it but I have never met or heard of a case similar to the one you mentioned. As I understand it a weak baby is a result of more than one factor, which include nutrition, exercise (helped by the parents or guardian0m and encouraging words. I have a younger sister. She was born prematurely, at less than seven months. She was so tiny, about the size of a bottle normally used for soya sauce. Her fingers were stick like, and when she cried, no voice came out. Her birth was not registered, because my parents thought she was not going to make it. Yet with the care given by my mother, she sirvived. People looking at her body size, height, and robustness, never knew the real story. Her birth was reorted as if she was born about three months later. Her case may not be exactly the same as yours, because I did not ask my mother. Nevertheless it illustrate the point that a baby born weak and helpless can grow up to be a strong child, if the proper nurturing is given.

There is a cause of worry when you see spotting but if the fetus has developed heart beat, there is nothing to worry. By 6 weeks, the fetus must be having a heart beat. Get an appointment and check on that. If the fetus is having heratbeat, then there is little cause of worry at all. You must be careful till 3 months. You must avoid high heels or high intensity activity and that is it. If required, doctor may give you progesterone tablets for a smooth 1st trimester. I had the same problem till about 13 weeks and this is what my doctor advised me.

It is not necessary that discharges during pregnancy will follow with the delivering of a weak baby, may be you are weak and need some rest for yourself. I did have symptoms like what you have mentioned but my children were both healthy during delivery. It is better that you consult your doctor also immediately.

I do believe that weak pregancy result on weak baby. i'm worried about my sister-in-law who is carring a baby now. She coughs a lot and loses her weight. She also has brown spots in her pant. She has facing huge pressure because her husband wants to have a boy baby and she is worrying whether the baby is boy or girl. Therefore please take good care of yourself.
