A good listenr should have what traits?

I remembered a very important verses in the Bible. It is so practical and I will always remember this golden rule : Quick to LISTEN, Slow to speak... This phrase advise people to listen first to what others say. We must think first before we speak. If we speak without thinking, the words spoken out could be hurting another person... and once spoken, the words cannot be taken back.... A word 'Sorry" at times cannot repair the damaged done :)
