What to do??? - We know exactly what to do.... but we do not take the initiative to ask for the help.

I haven't because I don't have stock to write down so naturally I always keep the pen with me, but recently I am finding myself without pen on daily basis which is very irritating one and it becomes more so when there is some time bound or there is a chance of a theft on petty things like pen.Have you ever been to such a situation???

Yep, I forgot a pencil on one of my finals. Luckily I borrowed wone from someone sitting behind me. Whenever I borrow pens/pencils I give em back. If I forget, I give it back at the next class. My hubby & kids like to take them out of my purse stash. Haven't figured out how to stop that yet, so I keep them in a pocket in my binder for every class.

Hi rjblueyes, well with your response here in this discussion I conclude that you are a good borrower of pen because after using it, you always return it to the owner. You know? With my experience of sharing my pen to others most of the people who borrow the pen didn't return it to me, then sometimes the one that they borrow to me is already broke and no longer available to use. But because of a good friend and kind student, I just accept their forgiveness! happy posting and happy mylotting to you!

Hello rocket2020, good day to you. Well, I'm a college student and I can say that bring my pen everyday is important for me for it's own use during the class. Regarding to your discussion, I can say that I already encounter that kind of situation where during the time of exam, I notice that I didn't bring my pen. With this situation, I always ask for a pen to my classmate and if I got lucky someone will give a pen but I got unlucky, well it's time for me to go outside and buy rushly a pen, which causes for me to delay the test or sometimes to take the test lately. After this I realize that it is some kind of irresposible thing to be done or something that I can say is part of a student life... By the way, forgetting my pen usually happen during the time that I am going to right something, when the teacher is writting at the board and she is asking as to copy those words and information. Then in addition forgetting my pen is one of the reason why I Got low grades during the examination. sad but honestly that's true about forgetting my pen... Happy posting! You have a great topic rocket202 it's very interesting!

Never, but I had my pencil break once and then the sharpener in the classroom was broken and I had another pencil and it broke too. That was at an exam where pens were not allowed. I also had a pen break once and smear ink all over my exam paper. That was embarrassing. I had another pen, but the paper looked so messy. Fortunately I did not get a bad grade over that.

Hello drannhh, I get your point on that kind of situati on. I guess me too in that kind of situation I will feel embarrassing! When the paper get dirt. As I remember during the exam most of the exam paper are required to use pencil and I guess you really got lucky that day, when your two pen get broken then the sharpener is not available at that time. As I remember when I encounter this kind of situation, honestly we really the same but the difference is my two pencil is inside the back of my pocket then when I decided to sit down the two pen break into pieces but still I can use it and take the exam and luckly I got a good high grades. By the way, I would like to share a good tips for you to no longer forget your pen. Just simply put it at the side of your pocket and I'm surely you will never forget it. well, if you see me in person and ask for a pen, I'm sure I can share you my pen.

I never forget my pens during the examination. I always carry a stationary case that contains a stack of it. I don't think it will be something that I might forget. But I used to forget a spare calculator. It was one of my biggest examination and I took Basic Accounting. I only had one calculator and it suddenly run out of battery. Luckily it nearly the end of examination and I nearly finished all of the questions. Still, I had panic attack for a couple of seconds.

I agree to you prinzcy! Our pen is something that we must never forget during the examination. But if the situation is already there and you really forget your pen. I guess we have nothing to do with it. Hehe I really laugh on your experience where you forget your calculator during the examination of accounting. I wonder how decided you are to past that exam with out using any calculators. Honestly I remember the story of my professor who teach us in the Calculus subject. My Professor is a Engineer and he told as his story that when he take the license examination for engineer he didn't use any calculator but only using pen and papers. I really admire the smart and great thinking ability of my Professor.

Well, if it's a couple of minutes after the exam started I might be really panic. Basic Accounting has lots of big number to count. But since it's just around 30 minutes before the examination ended, I have no problem. Besides, I've covered almost all question. I still got an A for that paper. Your professor is amazing. Calculus need lots of thinking and calculator can give a big help.
