Sometimes, I admire those people, especially youngsters who has adventurous spirit, are so eager to join the U.S. army. As soon as they finish their high schools, they couldn't wait to get enlisted. A friend of mine who recently struggle to get his G.E.D certificate, is desperately want to join the U.S. army. It has all the benefits to join the army I understand that, and you can also serve your country. Mainly, my friend wants to see this world, while he can go to college for some sort of benefit from the government. For me, I just don't have gut to join the army. I hope that he would make his dream come true. What about you, are you also eager to join the U.S. army?

Army has always been seen by me as passionate career in my life, since I'm a strong country over,I am Indian so would like to join it for the sake of my country.i face denials from my parents because i am their only son,yet I want to be hero for my nation, whenever its needed.Country always means to be a place where we all have aright for us to live and protecting it from bad forces is an duty that can be fulfilled being an army man.

well, nice to hear from a patriot. Some men really have that passion to protect their country, or to maintain world peace.

No I definitely would not want to join the army. I don't like the idea of war anyway, so the army would definitely not be something for me. I can understand that wars do take place for whatever reason and unfortunately the world is not a simple and peaceful place but I could never support the idea of war. I would rather not travel or see the world if the only way I could do it was by supporting war.

Unfortunately, human nature just want to conquer. They are greedy over many factors, so war is always unavoidable. Great education might change their nature for somehow.

i finished the military training last week. my trainer was very strict. he ordered us to do everything he asked no matter how difficult it was. we had to stand straight in the sun for a long time. we had less time for sleep and we needed to train more than ten hours every day, so i'm not eager to join the army.

Hello my dear clorissa, actually women aren't called up to the army here in Greece so I never had to go. We do have national service though for all the young men when they reach eighteen, which I think is a lovely idea as long as there aren't any wars being fought at the time. The boys who go to their national service return as mature young men with a real sense of responsibility.

It happens to a lot of country, especially in the states. In states, when you reached 18, you must be drafted or register. It is a mandatory rule in the states here.

Since I was a young kid, I have always wanted to join the army. I still would like to today. However, I would be scared. It's a tough job, but many people honor you for you difficult work in the field. It's a great thing to do for your country and you will die a hero no matter what. Being in the army can also be very rewarding. Not necessarily with cash regards, but the skills you learn will last you a complete lifetime.

For me every each person is unique and not everybody is for the army, but they have equal talents that can do and is also as honorable as serving in the army, as I believe serving the military is honorable and dignified and is a very respectable profession.
