A few years ago my Mom and I adopted a pair of Rottweilers. She named hers Rocky. I kind of have a warped sense of humor and named mine Kitty. It stemmed from our neighbor throwing a fit about a feral cat that had kittens at his home. He blamed us for adopting the cat and turning it lose and wanted us to pay for damages that were done at his house. As we informed him it was a wild cat that someone had dumped at his house and that we couldn't touch it or her kittens. We had quite a fight over the cat and I decided that when I got the dog I would name her "Kitty" so that I could annoy the neighbor when I called the dog! I would go out and call my dog "Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty!" He'd do a slow burn, and all the cats in the neighborhood would come running, followed by a huge black Rottweiler!!!
