ATTENTION: A scam at PICKJACK.COM

India
August 30, 2009 3:22am CST
Dear friends, the site pickjack.com is encountering a great problem. I started working on this quite actively. The problem I had encountered is that when I keep answering to the questions, it suddenly makes my loging to someone elses on the site and all the questions I answer goes to that particular person. I had informed the site admin about the issue but I don't had proof to say. To stablish it, I had posted questions which are really very dirty for the community. I am sure those answers would be displayed as the members questions not mine. Because I had 0 credit to question and that scroundal had 7 questions. I put all adult questions to make others aware that I am speaking something truth. Have I done something wrong? I will appreciate your responses.

It sounds like to me that a hacker has gotten in the system and may be shifting your points to themselves. This is very unfortunate if the admin can not catch them but it does not mean the site is a scam. Another option could be that there is a script error causing this. I wouldn't post anymore questions in the manner you did just in case they are listed under you, the site admin may choose to delete your account for inappropriate questions and because you posted them they would be in the right to do so. When you emailed the admin about this problem what was their response and how long ago was it that you emailed them?

It is not happening with a single member. It has been happening with a number of members. So, I have to take this action. Because, if I don't do this the admin could not be brought to attention. In my view the site is not a scam. But, confused a little, why they don't allow to edit my profile? Because, if I can link the paypal account of the hecker to my own account, then he will realize his fault. Or, if I post something odd in his profile to get the members know about his fault. I think the site admin should keep a single forum to discuss these with other members so that all of us get alert messages about the fraudstars. Thanks for your valued response. (I confirmed the questions under that scrupulous hecker. But admin might had banned the questions).

Hi Cmathias, you deserved it. Though there were a number of responses in my discussions, I felt that you were ampathetic giving your views. Moreover, I could sense the sound of truthfulness in your views. It was a difficult job for me to choose the best answer and your views overpowered others... You are welcome to my page if my discussions are attractive enough to pull you in... Have nice time ahead.

I am a new member there, so I don't know too much about this problem, but if I'm not mistaking, I remember that I have read something similar about them while surfing the internet. However, they seem to pay their users. I played a couple of times, just answering (which was pretty annoying, damn it) until I saw that my points disappeared. I said "what the heck?..." and afterwards I didn't felt the need to go there.

Actually the site pays, I myself a small amount credited to my account. But, I was thinking why I earn so little despite being active out there. This week only I had realized that the things are taking a U-turn in the middle. For first few occasions I signed out and re signed in to get back to my account. But it repeats. You can assure for whom you are answering if you put a comment on the question. Thats the trick to find out whether you are in your own account or someone else account.

Well...I've always put a comment (I simply can't shut up :)) )but I hadn't idea about such a strange thing; you made me curious, I must recognize. I'll go there to see if I can spot something wierd going on.

You are lucky not to have that problem. I consider myself unlucky as I encounter it frequently, specially I had noticed it recently. May be I was encountering it from long.

I was just at pickjack and it said i was from Malaysia. I'm from the United States, lol. I wrote a comment and my avatar changed to a picture from an Indian looking guy. Even my user name changed. What's the deal? Last month I got paid and I didn't even ask or answer any questions. I have a feeling pickjack has an error with their site that wasn't fixed.

Hahahahhaaaaaaa.... its really very funny when they change your nationality. I did not checked the Nationality, but when I could see that there is not a single question in my credit, I suddently get to see that I have around 300 questions in my credit. Very funny situation...But love the site.

I haven't encountered such a problem but I can't stand the repetition of questions which is why I don't log in anymore. Every time I post a question some idiot copies the question and they end up getting higher rankings and votes.. and also most times I seem to continuously get the same questions over and over so thats also annoying. Its not as interesting as I thought it would be so I've deleted my account there....

I feel sorry for you as your questions are stolen by others for fame. I think the site should restrict similar questions by a number of users, atleast in the same period. Because, it looks odd to see same questions in a single page. I had seen few such questions during my tenure out there.

I am also a member of pickjack, i hope the problem would not pursue. Though earnings are too small, the payout is only .05$ and instant straight to paypal every 2 weeks

The beauty of the site is that it makes small payments also. No matter how much you might be earning, they send you the payments to your paypal. That is what most of us look for.

Sorry to hear that you are encountering some problems at Pickjack. I am also a member of it but I am not working on it anymore but I still log-in once every 30 days to check on my account. Pickjack has paid me several times since April and the last time I got paid was last August 19. I have 70 trivia questions posted on Pickjack and I am earning money on it even while I sleep. I don't really know what happened to your account lately, I hope that their Admin can help you and resolved your concern immediately.

I don't know about the present situation but I thought that this site has a great problem. I don't know why maximum people say it well site. From the beginning to today I didn't paid by this. I have near about 30 cents but everyday they cut my money. I complain admin several time but no response, I check my paypal id but everything is worthless. So I think, this is very usual to get this attitude from a scam site....

It was a genuine site so far my knowledge is concerned and I had already stated that I had got payments to my paypal account. But, these things came to my notice just recently. Thanks for your response about the sites activities. I never surfed for scam about the site before.
