My son wants more pets

My son wants more pets. He did have a dog named baby but she died a couple months ago. He was heart broken over that. Now my son wants another dog. I got him fish and a nice fish tank but he wants something he can play with and have fun with. I do understand where he is comming from wanting a new dog and all but I am not over my first dog yet. I do miss her. My son is always asking for some kind of pet. I really want to get him one but not sure if I should do it just yet. Pets do cost money and can be exspensive at times. It is always in the back of my mind to get one for him. I will think about it some more. I want to make sure that we are ready for a dog or another pet before we make a final decision.

I am sorry to hear that you both lost your dog. We just recently lost our hamster. He was so precious. We cried and cried over him when we knew he was dying. We had to go right out and get a new one because we missed the love he gave and we gave him. Our new hamster is just as loving now. We also have a dog too and he is getting very old and losing mobility in his legs. I am not sure if another dog could replace him either though. We get too attached and they are alot of money to take care of at times.
