The interesting thing about the opposition to the "Health Care Reform" plans...

The Central Committee would love for us to believe that anyone opposed to the current health care "reform" bills are just right wing nutjobs who hate anyone who isn't "the rich". The fact is, if the opposition was just made up of the far right, no one would be paying much attention to it.. and it wouldn't be effecting much. The fact that the opposition is having a major effect because it ISN'T just the far right... or even the right. People who not only voted for Obama, but actively campaigned for him are coming out in strong opposition to the current health care "reform" bills. Of course, that doesn't mean a thing to the incompetent press or the Central Committee. If Obama is willing to throw his own beloved grandmother under the bus, who can expect any sort of respect or loyalty from him? Obama puts people in three different categories; Those who can get him where he wants to be; those who oppose his ambitions; and the rest of the world. The people of the first two categories are interchangeable. It doesn't matter how much a person did for him in the past, if they now don't bow down to his wishes, they need to be thrown to the side. It also doesn't matter how much someone opposed him in the past. If he is able to use them to get what he wants right now, they are welcomed... until such time as they aren't useful anymore. The third category is where most people are stuck. If we can't get him what he wants, or aren't opposing him... we simply don't exist in his myopic, egocentric, small minded little world.

In an interview with NPR about the reform of health care Emanuel said it was 'important to keep the advocates who have been opposed to reform in the past on board, but "not at all costs. That has been a key part of this." Emanuel sees giving more power to a commission already in place to advise Congress on how to hold down Medicare spending as key to keeping costs under control. "We will have a bill by the end of the year for the president to sign on health care that controls costs, expands coverage and provides choice," Emanuel said. "I don't want to fast forward the movie; you're just going to have to watch the movie all the way through," he said. NPR? This is not a unbiased source. This is the voice of the radical left.

Emanuel cares about more power for Emanuel, nothing else.

Excellent points, all, Ted. I wish you were blogging to the world, & not just MyBot. Even if I disagreed with you (I don't...), your skill at pointing things out, connecting the dots & reading between the lines to gouge out the facts & truth is a rare thing, & you deserve to be among the big name commentators. WTG, friend! Maggiepie "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"

I used to blog pretty extensively, but I had to scale back my participation in online things... it really took over for a while. I have thought about getting back into it though.. especially once I start playing regularly in a band. I do appreciate the compliments though.

Maggiepie, Ted is quite the blogger. I'm glad I don't disagree with him. Hard to beat him in a debate!
