Does someone ever say something that reminds you of someone else?

Do people say things that are exactly like something someone else once said to you and that person would have no way of knowing someone else said it to you? For example, my grandmother was full of old wives tales. She would spit out at least two a day. (Maybe not old wives tales but sayings). She would say things like it's raining cats and dogs or get it straight from the horse's mouth. Anyway someone that never met my grandmother said something that was so much like what she said it was like De Ja Vu.

I am sure this has happened before though at the moment I can not think of a specific instance of it occurring. Often someone will say something and I will tell them sound like some one else they may or may not know.

I think people in general are all the same. Eventually, everyone will say something someone else has said. It's just funny hearing something from a young person when an older person used to say it to you all the time.

As long as the reminder isn't someone or something negative, it's all good, lol.
