We have dreams when we sleep. But can animals have dreams? I had a cat when I was young. When it slept, I used to watch it and found its legs sometimes twitching slightly. Perhaps it's dreaming of running or something like that. Do you think animals can dream?

Yes. I think animals do dream. I have a dog and I can tell when he is dreaming. His eyelid move and his body twitches like he is running or something. He also whimpers or shallow barks too while he is dreaming. My hamster dreams too.

I believe that Cats and other animals have the capacity to dream. I have been watching videos about sleeping cats, and either i can see them snoring or doing stuff while sleeping. they're no different from us while sleeping except that we are smarter.

Hello, after having had pets for years I know that they dream. As for what I think it must be what they like doing during the time thay are awake. My kitty's would be batting their paws as if they were playing with a toy. One even would make noise like they were talking to the other cats while he was sleeping.

According to me animals also dream while sleeping. I have a dog and sometimes while sleeping he will suddenly wake up and start looking around, but after some time when he'll find nothing around he'll just go back to sleep. So I can say that animals do dream. Also dream is a phenomena of brain and thoughts. As animals also have both of them so it is logical that they also dream.

Animals have feelings, right. They may show as if they are dreaming but that be just a misconception by us,upon seeing them. All animals want is food , space and a mate.Upon looking at others of its kind,it would definitely want that way for it also.Dogs show this by barking in a high pitch but loud crying voice.Cats start to make themselves more restless, many animals think of attaining what others of their kind get.
