knowing that were facing the economic crisis and its getting more serious, do you still shop in the mall to buy the things which are on trends? i myself controlled that habit. because money lately has getting more hard to find. the value of it gets lesser and lesser and very hard to get it. ive learned a lot nowadays that we have to be very practical with what we buy. whew what about you? did you feel what i felt now? i mean financial stability is very serious matter.

the funny thing about me is I don't easily fall in love with one trend.it will take some time before I appreciate it.usually,I begin to appreciate a fashion item when it is not the trend anymore.I usually don't follow trends because I hate looking like everybody else.I have classic picks and prints that don't follow seasonal trends.

wow. you're unique for sure. and i like it because sometimes i feel that way. i dont like seeing somebody who wore a dress the same of what i have. grrrr i got irritated and that dress of mine ill give it to my couzins. thats why everytime i bought ill ask the saleslady if it has the same style. LOL

I have cut down a lot on unnecessary purchases. I used to be an extravagant person when times are good but have since learned a bitter lesson when my resources are depleting. Wealth is an uncertain thing. Everyday, fortunes are made and lost. I can't afford anymore to be crazy mad on the latest things in the market. I am now reduced to almost a pauper life.

Nope, not for me.. I have never been buying things that are in the trend now, as it's a waste of money to me.. lol =D Imagine paying so much for the latest trend, only to last for about 1-2 months or so?? It's definitely not worth it.. haha =D I'm not that rich, nor fashionable to go into it.. And i wont wanna be throwing my money into the sea instead.. haha =D PLus, i always go for comfort, and that not fashion or trends are that unique either.. hehe

hi carine! it's ok to buy stuff on trend as long as i have the resources to get one. yes, given the economic crisis, being trendy is not my priority. as long as i have clean clothes to wear that i can carry with dignity--- i am fine. but i appreciate new trends and fashion it's just that i know more my priorities and be happy of what i have and what i can afford life will be less complicated and happy.

well said ma'am! buying stuff which are not very important and not in need as of now, we have to put it aside first before the very basic needs then. thanks for the response
