How did you feel in the beginning of your pregnancy?

Well this is the question... how did you feel in the beginning of your pregnancy? Especially if you were/ are pregnant with twins. My husband and I were NOT expecting or trying to have a child but one day, and a missed period, here I am. I don't know if twins run in my family or his, most I know about my family is my mother, father and sister. His family, never really came up in conversation if he had twins. I know why not just ask him right? We already have 3 children, and well struggling right now. Just to make things worse this happened, I am taking it as a sign from god. Anyhow, I am only about 7/8 weeks, the strange thing is though I feel it moving. I don't know how normal this is to feel movement this soon. I had a dream that I was having twins. Compared to my other pregnancies this one is very different. ALWAYS hungry, always tired, and already put about ten pounds on. I know my body is used to it by now, 3 kids, and 3 miscarriages. So I was just wondering if you were pregnant with twins what did it feel like? Did you have any intuition or the doctor surprised you? Please share your story with me. Thanks :)

when do they give you your first ultrasound there ? here in canada, they do a 6 weeks ultrasound to make sure everything they can tell so far is healthy and for finding out the due date.. You will be able to tell if your having twins or not when you go to your first ultrasound. The moving around feeling, COULD be just your body making room for the baby, after all they say the more times your pregnant the more your body knows what to do, and also the more hard it gets on your body! also every pregnancy is difficult, please dont stress too much, and think positive. I think 7 weeks is too early to feel movement even for twins.. although you could just know what your feeling for this time so your intuned to it..

Thanks for your response I mean last night I was laying there with my hand on my stomach and it felt like hard waves just moving, moving around during the day I don't feel movement like that, just the constant wanting to throw up feeling. Sadly, I have to wait for insurance to kick in (I don't have any yet. )

well i guess time will tell.. I feel really bad for you american moms i talk to.. not only do you not get the care you need while pregnant if you dont have proper insurance, you only get 6 measly weeks to get to know your baby before you have to go back to work if your a working mom. We have free healthcare, and we get 50 weeks ( almost a year !! ) of mat leave when we have babies.. How long do you have to wait for your insurance to kick in?

I have never had twins so I can't speak for that. But I would think that always being hungery would probably be normal for someone carrying 2 babies, you have to keep enough food and nutrition going in to you for three of you. I am not sure why you are feeling movement already, I didn't think that really started at least untilt he 12th week, perhaps you are further along than you think. Tell your doctor how you are feeling at your next doctors visit and hopefully he or she can tell you what to expect when you are pregnant with twins as opposed to being pregnant with just one child. I wish you all the best with your pregnancy.
