Bright light or tablelamps

Table lamp, more flexible and i can move it around... :D

I prefer table lamp. It gives a much sweeter light. Ceiling light can become very annoying some times.

I like table lamp or bed side lamp or lamp above bed or table and not bright light. That is oKay for drawing room.

I prefer a table lamp also, but there is not really room on my cluttered little desk, so we compromised and bought a three-bulb ceiling lamp where the individual lamps can be angled and coupled this with a dimmer switch. Then if we want bright, we put it on full and if we want ambience we dim it down, and on nights when we can't agree the lights go up and down like a yo yo every time we pass the switch lol.

it really depends on the situation. like when it's time for my kids to do their homeworks, we have to use bright, overhead lights, of course! but if we're just watching tv or just filling each other with our activities for the day, the lamps lend a soothing glow to the atmosphere.

I like the bright over head light to see all around the room but I like a floor lamp for a more direct light to work with. Find it hard to work with shadows.

Table lamps for me! We also have a few "spotlights" dotted about on the ceiling, but they are not the bright ones, just a few watts that is all We prefer "Cosy" lighting!

I like both. For the living room and bedroom, I like table lamps. For the kitchen and bathrooms, I like bright lights.

i do too. I love to have things around that make it cozy and warm. I am always changing things around my house.

This is a big debate in my house. My wife likes to have little or no light when we're chilling infront ofthe TV or whatever and really dislikes bright light. She even keeps blinds etc closed during the day to dim rooms. I prefer to have as much light as I can. I don't mind a room being dim, but if I'm eating or anything else besides TV or computer I like to have the 'big light' on. Incidentally, you know the famous Peter Kay thing about the 'big light'? I have a friend from Taiwan, and they call it the 'big light' too!

I like candles best, then lamps but I do like a bright light to do craftwork.

I prefer a table lamp too..I find bright lights to be overwhelming and they can give me a headache (or make an already existant heachache even worse).

I like table lamps too.Sometimes the glare from overhead lights gives me a headache.I agree table lamps give the room a cosy glow.

and make table lamps and candles because they really create a magical spell around you and undoubtedly they have that cozy feeling, bright lights I have never enjoyed except when at the party or at some show

Well, my favorite light would have to be a UV lamp. It's a normal sized lamp, with a funky looking bulb. It gives off UV rays (Ultra Violet Radiation,) which is the same rays the sun give out. It keeps me awake. :D
