Hi! It all depends upon the two persons involved. How much they can understand each other through internet. Conversing through Internet is different from the real life scenario and more risks are involved, if one falls in love with someone through internet. BTW, I have no such experience, which I could share with you......LOL!

I don't have to go far to search for succesful ILA, two of my neighbors are classics. One is a 56 year old lady and a 76 year-old french man. They both left for France recently after their marriage here. The other was a man in his early 20's who met a nurse in Switzerland, after a brief period of chatting, the lady came here to marry him and they are now living in Switzerland. There are horror stories, I'm sure, but who knows, life has full of surprises. have fun

Internet affairs do end up somewhere or stop in the middle, depends on the person itself. I have a cousin, married with his internet lover, 3 years ago. They met on chatroom. And my friend just break up with his cyberlover, just a few weeks back. So... actually it depends.

question about your friend who broke up with his cyberlover, had he been miserable or was it like nothing happened?

I was surprised to find out someone I know found their soulmate online. Yes, they are happily married. I guess we have to agree that real true love will travel to the ends of the Earth!!

It's a long time to see you my friend. From some points of my view, internet maybe creat to us so many chances that make someone of us fall in love in them. But we should cool to look at this.It is not suitable for all of us.

I for one have been a witnessed to an internet love affair that ended into a beautiful marriage. Both of them have known each other through a social networking site. They were introduced online and now they are happily married. Me and my wife were even sponsors to their wedding. Of course not all relationship online ends up with marriage. But love does come from the most unexpected places as the song goes....

love is very strange, you can feel it even in most unusual way, you can get it on unusual time and circumstances. sometimes you will have it or feel it even you are not really looking for one. i haven't heard any love story about anybody that started on the internet but i know how powerful love is. i do not under estimate love for it can really make you feel good or sometimes it can drive you crazy.

I never think of internet affair as a very serious things knowing the distances it is for me a form of entertainment but if the person is serious, I am serious too and well..the distances doesn't matter it is the hearts and mind united in one purposes which matter the most..I hear some instances where it lead to marriages but in my opinion i even get excited when I see this person in real situation..

you are right. anyone can flirt in cyberspace. the degree of seriousness and sincerity must be really high in order to make things happen.
