Would you like to continue living the city? or would you like to live on the countryside, province, town? My grandma likes to live in the city but she would often go home in the countryside longer. I noticed that although she likes the city. Her body is telling her to stay on the countryside, how about you, where would you like to stay if you retire? and why?

Hey, It doesn't really matter where I retire, all that matters is the actual place itself. I would like to live in a reasonably good house so I could just relax their for the remainder years of my life, that would be nice. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

hello ivygrey, For me, I want to live in the province when I retire together with my wife. Given a chance, I like to stay there so I can have my piggery, poultry and even have my own garden wherein I can pick fresh fruits and vegetables. I want to experience the province life just like the old days. For now I live in the city with my family for I have my job here. Besides, is where our children study.

that would be home. i have lived so many places but never felt at home. i went to college (lived alone) but i have always wanted to spend every break i could get at home. now that i'm working (away from home), i've always feel like "there's no place like home.." when retirement comes, i wanted to spend it there full of luxury. :B

Fresh air makes countryside really the place to spend retirement.Living in a farm would definitely make my life of retirement more exciting and relaxing.Imagine your early morning drinking fresh milk from the cows your tending. A breakfast of egg produce from your poultry. Lunch of delicious vegetables from your garden.A dinner serve full of fruits from your field. And a very heartwarming smiles of simple people around you. That relaxed state is worth it for a retirement.

The countryside! I'm living in town now, but I don't like it. I was raised in the country and spent much of my life there. It's so peaceful and you can see the stars and the rain coming and the geese flying over... here in the city, I can't see much of anything except the neighbors' houses and cars.

I would like to move to the California coast in the USA. I love the ocean, the beach, the weather, that is where I want to live. I wish I could go now but it is expensive to live there so I can not. I do not hate where I live now though I do hate the summers because they are so hot. Luckily the beach is only a two hour drive away though I can not afford to go much, at least I could if I had the money to.

Me, countryside. I want to do some farming and raise chickens. I want to stay near a clean river and breath a fresh air. I don't like noise as it can bring a lot of stress, so I wanted to stay at the countryside. I am so aiming my parents house.

I am far from retiring! I'm only in my 20s, but it is fun to think about the future. I wonder if looking back on this I would have the same answer 40 years from now? As of right now I would say I'd go south at least in the winters while I'm retired. I don't know if I could go live down south permanently because I wouldn't want to leave my family! But I think it would be nice to spend the coldest time of year in the warm south. I'm from NY AND PA so it gets cold up here in the winter!

The thing about retirement is to be able to get around and do the things that one enjoys. To do that one has to live in the area best suited to the lifestyle of their choice. I know that I will not be able to take care of what I have now in future years. I enjoy country living, but also enjoy the perks of city life. In my life I have lived in both and find I enjoy towns better than country, so oneday I hope to move to town. The ideal situation for me would be somewhere where the lawn can be turned into a garden, a zero-scape garden is a must. Personally I love to travel and camp along the way. So having an easy to care for home to come nack to is wonderful. You should be thankful that your grandma can do either and she should be allowed to as long as she can move and get around in both places. God bless her for having the wherewithall to do it all.

I would retire to the country. I would have lots of land. Fields and woods. I would sit on my porch in a porch swing and not have houses or neighbors on top of me. I am a private person. I like to just sit and enjoy the scenery. It would be quiet. No fire whistles, police chases, no loud airplanes. I love the country. I grew up in the country. I always said I would live in the suburbs. Now I wish I could go back to the country.

hmm, well i would like to live in London or Melbourne may be. Reason is because both are beautiful cities. I am not much into countryside. Yes once off in a month but thats about it.
