Have any one do you have a answer for any of the above questions..? Oh my god I too don't like terrorism. I read some where "Violence in response to vilence can only lead to further violence". Is this Correct are you people accept the above quote. How do we stop this terrorism, which will only results in demolitions and deaths. I hope when there is no equal rights and sharing in freedom, land, money, food and peace..it will gets started to reach them all by a team of people, it gets stopped when they reach them successfully. Do you have new dimension on this please feel free to add your discussion. Happy lotting thanks.

Well, you are absolutely right by saying"violence in response to violence can only lead to further violence",and you know what we got do to is to find out the source of terrorism and end it there. While the reason for terrorism can be a lot to say,as the interest between/among people and countries can not be balanced, and this got to be the most important cause of all terrorism, when peple failed to try end this in peace way, they can only use terrorism, and so,the whole world get involved. Then I think the best way we can do is to have more cross-country or cross-region peaceful dialogues.

"Violence in response to vilence can only lead to further violence". Maybe new problem arise. I think terrorism can be stopped, but it can be reduced by giving good education, teaching a true religion based on love.

I am not sure how to really get it stopped. I think we are trying to do that now over in Iraq. I have no idea how it gets started or why. I think the only way to try to stop it, is by stopping the people who are making it happen.

I think the way to go is to get rid of religion. It sounds harsh and extreme but many terrorist acts are done by religious extremests. Its just my opinion. I know that this wouldn't happen anytime in my or my kids lifetime.

Terrorism and violence create fear and they are caused by individuals who are angry. Anger is an expression of sadness and fear. These people generally feel oppressed in society in some way and have their own reasons to dislike themselves. Stopping fear and terrorism would mean changing the world to become a better place and for its people to feel worthy. Cliché as it sounds loving one another is the real answer but sadly it seems just a pipe dream presently...

One of many ways of addressing terrorism is to have the causes of its proliferation be the core of its containment. Why people resort to terrorism? Basically they are the less represented in the society or they have their unresolved grievances that for long years they wanted solutions for it.We should have a socio economic approach to it.Violence isnt the path to peace, justice and equality.

Good insightful responses you have got. This can be a topic of research. Violence has been an integral component of existence but we are learning to master this demon. But there is difference between plain violence and terrorism. Boxing is a violent game but less terrorizing. Terrorism is more of a calculated response. It is willful guided by a higher reward or revenge. It is not aimed at finding a solution in the present and therefore is more destructive. From time immemorial the challenge has been how the have's will integrate the have not's or vice versa. The concept of have's and have not's is not restricted to a material life but also in terms of spiritual, educational, cultural and other parameters. Capitalism and democracy make survival of the fittest easier or viable. It is still learning to integrate the not so fortunate one's. Communism acted as a force to get their voice heard, with its own share of terrorism. The collapse of communism and the lack of alternatives has resulted in a surge of terrorist activity in the name of religion. Holistic education, which will not instill fear in the mind of the next generation is one way to tackle terrorism. This is a long arduous task but more worthwhile. Some economists brought in the idea of how to become rich from selling to the base of the pyramid. Similarly how ti integrate them in economical, cultural and other processes is a challenge, but possible. I do seek answers.

It is all about religion. In Northern Ireland it has started up again. They found a road side bomb on the border and got to it in time.It was timed to go off just as the police patrols were supposed to pass, there were houses on the other side of the road as well. What gets me is these terrorists are not a new thing generation after generation take up the gauntlet and carry on with all this destruction. It will only stop when someone from both sides say "hey we have had enough,we have all been fighting for years and nothing has changed, lets stop we have all had enough"As a mother my object is to nurture and look after my kids and anyones else's that come my way.Everytime someone is blown up it breaks so many hearts. We tell our children not to fight and violence will get you no where but in prison or worse, then we turn on the tv and there it is in front of them.A bomb going off somewhere in the world ,people crying and the devastation. One day there will be nothing left to blow up or people to kill.lives to ruin. Then they will kill each other instead. It is in their blood, their culture, their beliefs.

Terrorism stared even before the biblical age and then it was war all the time, terrorism in the modern world started in Europe when thw Russians were known for their stance on some critical political issues , i do believe terrorism is a thing of the mind and depends on individual belief, when such believes are removed from one's mentality, it will be better off

the present day terrorism is invariably linked to exploitation. when people feel exploited and do not get justice, they resort to terrorism. once it starts, other agenda sneak in. few people start using terrorism for their own vested interests. for example taliban fought against soviet aggression and when soviets went back, they started exploiting their own people. these terrorists do not fight with bare hands. they have all the weapons they need. where do these weapons come from? again it is the vested interest of a few who sell them arms. these are the things which should be stopped to ensure peace.

Terrorism will never be renounce anywhere. they are already part and parcel of a society.Violence is already spice of life. If those things will vanish what life would be.Yes, it may not sound good to your ear or to others. But we have to accept the fact that its part of life's and society struggles. My opinion does not mean that i like violence but ever since i was born its already there. Maybe we can minimize but not renounce it totally. always remember as long there are people who see life in a different perspective violence will continue. hope i have given you some of my views. thanks
