apples and canning

I love canning jelly and wondered if there are any good canning recipes for apples. I have made raspberry jelly and blueberry jam and it came out so good. Looking for recipes for canning and also some great recipes for apples as it is now apple picking time and I always have to many apples and don't want to waste them so I need to cook with them...does anyone have an apple scone recipe or apple chutney or anything like that. thanks.

Sorry, I don't have any good recipes but this is a great topic. A good friend of mine was just telling me how she'd gotten into doing this and I thought, "what a great idea." I would love to try doing something like that and especially the jams and jellies. They'd be great on toast and so much better than store bought. Also, I'm thinking they would make some cool xmas gifts.
