What will Obama do if he was the President during the 9/11 attacks?

I think if Obama was the President during that time, Osama Bin Laden is now in jail. Do you agree?

No, I don't agree at all. If Obama was president at that time, he probably would have apologized for our towers being in the way of those airplanes. Ok, I'm exaggerating, but he seems to have that attitude. A war hawk, he is not and he is not one to be concerned about justice, either.

Is he that type? Well, It is nice to ponder at those possibilities. Take care.

I agree with you 100%, Peavey. I don't think you're exaggerating, though; he probably would have apologized for the towers being in the way. The man doesn't give a rat's rear end for America, and it's blatantly obvious.

I think if Obama was the president at the time, not only would Osama be in jail, but the majority of 9/11 wouldn't have even happened. A lot of things appeared to be an inside job on the part of the USA, secret service etc. I don't think Obama would have pulled the crap that Bush did, and lives would have been saved.

I have the same opinion. I could see that he is more diplomatic tan the previous president. Regards

By "more diplomatic," I'm assuming you mean that Obama's more willing to talk things out? How in the world are you going to reason with unreasonable people? You can't dialogue with terrorists, people. Bush knew that; that's why he did what he did, and that's what made people so angry with him. He didn't roll over and play nicely with people who want nothing more than to see America wiped off the map. Barack Obama would have endangered the USA even more had he tried to negotiate with Al Qaeda. They would have seen that he was a weak president, and would have capitalized on it even more than they already had.

I do not agree. Why do you think that if Obama was president then that Osama Bin Laden will put his hands up and say "I led the attack. I surrender," just because Obama would glare at him or do you think that when Obama says obey, then troops will do what he says and trillions of dollars spent and America put into heavy debt, so that Osama Bin Laden is arrested? That seems the marks of a dictator not a president.

Well, I believe that with the way he deals with things, a sort of plan he would device with his advisers could bring the culprits to justice.

I couldn't disagree with you more. Obama would have tried to dialogue with Bin Laden to try to get him to say he's sorry for bringing ruin to the country. There is no way on earth that Barry would bring any sort of retaliation against the very people he's trying to make friends with; instead, he'd do what he's trying to now--smear the CIA...the very people who have kept America safe for the past eight years. It's so bass-ackwards, but that's exactly what he would have done. Bin Laden would still be wherever he's at, laughing his head off at Obama making a fool of himself and putting America in even greater danger.
