As for me I don't believe in all the superstitious believes and the age old myths and at the same time I don't critisize people who believe them. Its their wish to believe something or not but if they try to rub their beliefs on me I wouldn't stay calm and I may critisize them then.Anyway belief in God is enough,I don't think I would be believing in all the myths etc

I believe that there is a deep belief in superstitions, certain ones have meaning behind them, others are simply old wives tales IMO If a person believes, then that superstition has validity to them and it is not for others to denigrate the feelings that the other person may have.

To be honest, I don't really believe in superstitious beliefs, myths or anything like that. Some people do believe in them, which is absolutely fine by me. After all it is their right to do so. However, I'm simply not one of them. All I really do with regards to these beliefs is respect those who actually do believe in them.

for me, i don't believe in superstitious beliefs, myths, and the like. But like you, I only believe beliefs about God. I believe mostly in scientifically explained things, because they are already proven true by science and math. They are already actual unlike those superstitious beliefs, myths, and the like, that they are usually not entirely not true, like when you have met a black cat along the way, we would encounter bad luck. and also the so-called Friday the 13th. These beliefs were not proven by science true.

I come from a traditional Indian family, where my people believe in tradition and old customs. I am not too much of a believer, although I do believe in God and our festivals. It is however heartening to see my mother doing Poojas and rituals for the wellbeing of out family. She is such a doll! So I do not break her heart by saying to her that I don't believe in all that she does!!

I don't really believe in the old practices or traditions... much less God. Mind you, just because I don't it doesn't mean that I am against the people who believe in those superstitions, myths, etcetera. I'm perfectly fine with them as long as I'm not dragged in. Some traditions have no harm to them and it's all done in good spirit of cultures that may be hundreds of years old. A way to remember the roots of a culture, which few people probably don't remind since as you said this is a modern world and people are too focused on the current days to remember from where they came. There's probably nothing wrong with that, but, neither with the opposite.
