I know that it's getting that time of year again and I layed in bed with my husband we was talking about that we needed to start getting our emergency kit ready just in case the power went out again does anybody else think like that because we have heard we are expecting a bad winter more so then last year and I was not prepared so I thought I would see if people is prepared?

We have tried to get prepared better for it also. We just didn't have the money to do it before then. We bought a generator as that is one of the mosy important things to have during these times.

I don’t know what I should do for coming winter. Here in the UK winter is not so cold. As I remember last year my flat was warm till December we turned on our heating system, for doing that we saved money on power bill. I suppose because my flat is small and in the south, so I can get sunshine if we do have sunny day.also I’m from a very cold area, so I don’t feel too cold in the UK. I feel sorry you have power shortage problem. Wish this winter will be better to you.
