When you were younger, how did you complete that sentence? What did you want to do with your life? Be an astronaut, a firefighter, a police officer? Did you ever achieve those goals, or did your life take you down a different road? What prevented you from becoming what you desired to be as a child? If you never did become what you originally wanted, what is your career now and are you happy in it? I always wanted to be a journalist. I wanted to write, travel, and make my own hours. I now realize that journalism is a job that's expensive to become with little pay out, and I don't believe I'm all that great at it. I'm still in high school, but working to become a psychologist.

In third grade I swore up and down that I would someday be a ballerina. Later, I decided that I wanted to be either a nurse or a veternarian, and a poet on the side. Now that I am an adult, I am a Stay at Home Mom to four beautiful girls. It is a totally different path than what I had planned, but falling in love not long after I graduated then getting married a year later, I was more than happy to leave my earlier dreams behind for the awesome path God was leading me down! I love the life I have and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Being able to be home with my kids before and after school and anytime in between that they may need me, plus being home and having dinner prepared for my husband when he gets home from work makes me feel more complete than any job out there ever could.

When I was still young I always dream to become a lawyer , teacher and doctor. But it was just child dreams playing in her mind. But as I grow old I always wanted to become a lawyer for those who seek for justice that never been supported by any other lawyers because they don't have money for payment.

I wanted to be all kinds of things. First I wanted to be a teacher, then a professonal roller skater, then an actress. Then I thought about psychology and then mass communications. Then I went to school for criminal justice. Then I went back to teaching. Now I have graduated college with a general studies degree and work in HR.

I wanted to be someone with a difficult job like an archeologist, an astronaut or even a singer or an artist! But it's pretty difficult for a female to become an archeologist, an astronaut is out of question and so is the singer.. I decided to become someone who can do things that only professionals can do, so now I'm studying Computer Science at my university in hopes of becoming a good adult. My study field is difficult but I like it :) good luck with your high school studies..

I had always told my friends of becoming a doctor in the future. It turned out that destiny really is not always in our hands. I wasn't able to achieve my goal of being a doctor. It all came as a dream as i realised i am a computer hardware/network engineer. I really passed through a lot of hardship during my school days. I wasn't able to afford to offer medicine. So i had to take a different choice of making a living in the future which then landed me into the computer programme. I am really happy in my career. I would say, it is destiny and i am doing well.

When I was younger I always wanted to be a Vet. I am a huge animal lover and it was always my dream to be able to spend all my time at work surrounded by animals. I volunteered at a Vets office for three years throughout high school and discovered that I was severely allergic to some dogs and all cats. :-( I will be graduated in a couple months with a degree in finance and management information system.
