Do You Read The Terms Of A Site Before Joining?

Hi, As I wander through this category I often see a lot of discussions saying I was banned from this program or not approved by that one, or even such and such program is a scam which leads me to wonder... In all honesty how many of you take the time to read and understand all that's involved before joining any online money making program - whether that's a paid to click etc or affiliate program? All too often people claim X program is a scam etc because they didn't receive money or because their account was deleted, yet if they took the time to read the terms they'd often see that they've broken the rules or haven't followed the guidelines etc.

I agree that failing to read the terms of a site could lead to a lot of scam sites. I always read the terms even though they are pretty much the same, for one reason I don't want to be resposible for buying anything or paying a fee, also I just want to see what I'm getting into. I don't read them as closely as I probably should, but I do read them for the most part.

With money making sites, I always read the term and rules before I agree to anything. There have been plenty of sites that by the time I read through all the rules and terms, I realize that the site really isn't what I want or am looking for. Plus, in reading the rules, I know what is exected of me, what I'd have to do to actually make money on the site, and what the big no-no's are. It really is in your best interest to take the few minutes to read through all that stuff and save you the hassle later.

I do read the terms before joining just to make sure I don't violate any rules and regulations. I always want to be a member of good standing. Initially, I took my time to read the Terms at length but I found that they have more or less the same rules. Now, whenever I join a site, I skim the Terms very quickly and don't spend too much time reading it.

Hi re08dz.. I think it's very important to read the terms and conditions of a site before joining it. Personally I never used to do so initially but after being scammed once i have started reading the terms and conditions of every site where I am registering in. specially money making sites. It is always better to be on the safe side to know the rules of the website before joining it so that we don't break them and as a result having our account being terminated and all our hard earned money being lost. I have experienced this twice and do not wish to again.

yes, I do. I sometimes skim and read quickly dfepending how much I already know about the program. I always go back and spend a little more time on it after I have meen a member for a couple days. I would hate to spend my time on something and earn some cash just to have it taken away because I didn't know the rules.

I must say, that i do agree. Ninety percent of the time, people do not take the time to actually read the fine print; terms and conditions; FAQ; and other important things, that everyone should read. Many simply take a site, at face value, or what they have heard from someone else, rather than checking on a site or company in advance, or reading for themselves, what they really need to know.

I only mark the check box for I have read the terms and conditions... But nah... I've never read any terms or conditions of a site... It's just instinct among us if we're adhering to rules and regulations.

Yes I read the terms of a site before joining. I have found out by reading them when a site said it free that some were not after a week or month. You need to read so you know what you are getting in before joining a site.

Honestly,i didn't read the terms and conditions when i joined certain website. What i did was check the do and don't at the rules and regulation section. I believe that our account cannot be delete if we did not offend any rules. However, some scam site will simply blame you for things that you didn't do to delete your account. They will also reward some lucky member with payment so that that member can promote for them. I have scan though some of the terms and conditions that the website given and i found that most of them is just state that you must obey law and they reserve the right to do anything etc etc .
