Do we get paid for replying answers we received?

I joined mylot already six months, but I still feel confused with the rules here. now my question is about reply answers. If we start a discussion and we get answers. Do we need to reply these answers? If we reply these answers do we get paid for it? Does mylot have bonus reward for popular discussion? If it does, how many answers the discussion should have? Thank you very much and happy mylotting!

I read about similar disussion 2 days ago, then I try to be more focusing on replying to posts in discussion I started and only response 2-3 times to other discussion. The earnings show up the next day quite good, so I would assume that mtlot also pay for our reply. The main thing is our activities here. I feel it's not right too when you raise questions/discussions to other's but not replying to their opinion. Two ways communication will make the thread be more alive. But of course not every response need our comments, and one liner like : thanks for your reply' will not add up your earnings, however it's good to build interaction and add some friends. I noticed that discussions with +10 responses will show up in the top discussions so I think this may increase the earnings.

The more you put into your own discussion the more active it becomes and the higher up in the lists it will appear. Then other users will see it and they will come and respond. Therefore it is useful, not only to earn cents, but to earn responses, that you should stay with your discussion and keep commenting once you have submitted it if you want it to give you more opportunities to earn. Any comments you place on the responses received must be of quality or they will not result in earnings.

To mysdianait: After I read your two replies I think I got some ideas about the rules. I think for my most popular discussion I did not give enough qualified comments. I just read them and showed my appreciations to them, but the replies might be too short to get paid. Your explanations made me feel better with the rules. By the way I read your response three times and to be sure I really understand you. Thank you very much for your help and I’m looking forward to getting more help from you. Happy mylotting.

I agree with you. I think mylot should have the bonus system to encourage the two direction discussion. I also noticed when my discussion got over 25 replies it was on the top discussion display. so I think it would help me to get earnings. However I checked my earnings but I did not find the obvious income after I replied all answers. so I still not be sure of what I thought before. thanks for your analysis and happy mylotting.

I have not tried the task yet. so I can not give you the valuable answr. however I do think some tasks are ridiculous. not worth trying. I would use my limited time on posting responses and have a stable earnings.you can keep your eye open on task items. maybe one day you can find one and give it a go.

I don't know these rules totally. so it's the reason I started the discussion. now I feel i understood a little, but not enough. I worked very hard recently to get the posts, but I found you are always in front of me. there are always 100 posts distance in front me to catch you. How about you? How long do you spend on mylot daily? I feel a little tired now, however I want to reach the payout this month. time will tell if i can do or not. happy mylotting.

you are right. now i feel really tired on mylot. i should change my idea about it and make my life easier. sometims i make my life difficult by giving myself too high goal. my husband said i want to run before i can walk. it's true. Anyway for the time i'm satisfied with what I did on line now. It's better a lot than my previous time. I also get used to the website and it made my writting easier a lot. thanks for your advice. it's very useful for me. i would not walk to far with my crazy thought.

HI Everyone I spend about 2 hours in MYLot responding to post and sometimes creating new topics I respond to topics more than I create new ones I think its great that MYLOT shares the revenue with its members for participating in the forum discussions however when I feel I need a break I take it I don't make MYLOT MY LIFE You can get burned out sitting here hour after hour day after day it is time consuming although rewarding as it is you have to get up at some point and take a break its not good to sit at the PC for hours on end , sometimes I skip a day I do that sometimes also try not to be overly concerned about making the payout for the month relax and enjoy the forum this is not the kind of site that your going to just make hundreds and hundres of dollars a month to concentrate mostly on earnings sort of takes the fun out of what MYLOT is about (thats just my opinion

Hi sblossom, you won't make any money unless you have a discussion rather than a question with lots of unanswered responses. Try and respond to all with a comment and not a thank you. This will also have the effect of enhancing your reputation as people soon get bored of answering topics and not being responded back to. To make it easier to comment back make your topic interesting enough to get diverse replies and make sure it is something you are interested in yourself before you post to you will find it work to reply rather than fun, which it should be.

Yes you do leahsmom. You eaern for everything that you type and post, just as long as it is well thought out and quality, relevant to the topic. You can post it anywhere, as a response or a comment and you can join in anywhere that you find interesting. All your own activity will earn for you no matter where it is.

To all above: Now I realized what’s wrong before with my discussions. I got paid ,but I did not know what’s the game rules. After starting the topic, I do learn a lot. I think I can settle down here now. Also I found not only have I had the question, many mylotters also have a similar problem. Now I want to know about download pictures. Do we get paid for downloading pictures? What’s the request? Thank You for your reply and happy mylotting.

Hello, your answer is a little different from Mysdianait. Now I'm back to feel confused. However you told me we get paid for giving best responses. it's new to me. I never realised we are paid for it. Now I think I should pay more attention on the responses I give then I would be paid more.

Hmm. well, you are paid actually when you reply to those who responded to your discussion.. you won't get paid for the responses though.. I mean, you only get paid for your own activity, so when you make a discussion, make sure to reply to those who commented on them, cause that's when you really get paid. I dont think mylot has rewards for most popular discussions...

Just now I checked my earnings for what I did yesterday I found the earnings was higher a lot than any ordinary day. The main reason was that I replied many responses to my discussions instead of giving response to other members’ discussion. And my replies were detailed and I did have double discuss with other members. So now I do believe we can get paid for our replies. I really feel happy when I found it out. Thanks for your explanation. It’s easily understood. As you said ‘you only get paid for your own activity’. It’s pity mylot does not have bonus reward for most popular topic. If it does our life here would be more fun. Happy mylotting.

well, you really do get paid more for responding to those who have commented on your discussion.. Good luck on your responding, and have a great time doing it! you should suggest to the admin about the most popular discussion thing, that would be cool if they have a price or something.

Hi Sblossom, yes, you make money for every single post you make, even if you make a hundred similar replies to those who answers your questions. It does not matter how reptitive each response is, just dont make it a habit to copy and paste. Once I needed another two dollars to reach payout, so I started two discussion threads that draw an average of hundred responses. I spent more than a week just replying to each response, and made more than four dollars. For that period of time, I didn't even have time to read other discussions.

I just came across the problem when I posted a topic about should I take my laptop with me when I’m on holiday. Then I have received over 50 responses. For replying these responses I felt have no time to answer other discussions. So it made me to start this topic. Frankly I want to get paid for my reply as well as to make friends. Your case is very good explanation to my question. Today I will see if I get paid for my replies that I did yesterday. Thanks and happy mylotting.

If you want to get paid, yes you do, because you are only paid for your activity, and not the activity of others. So, it is in your best interest to post comments to the respomses you receive, and they should be more than just a few words or one lines, and more than thank you for your response, as you won't get anything for that, as it isn't of a good quality, and mylot says we should avoid those kinds of comments. Any of your posts should be quality if at all possible, be descriptive, and have substance. I hope that this has helped. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I am new to this site and I can only tell you what I see on my earnings. I mostly participate in discussions and don't really start a lot of discussions. I find many interesting topics enough that I don't feel I should start one or repeat topics which have been or are being discussed. I see that I earn something daily by posting my responses, not for posting a follow-up answer to a discussion I have participated. However, I do give follow-up posts on the topics if I have the answers.
