With the convience of internet,a person can buy nearly everthing what he or she need from internet. www.taobao is a extreme popular website to purchase site in chinese website.Frankly,I purchase things from internet in recent monthes.I bought food, clothes, shoes even the cell phone. the website is just like a shopping mall. There lots of stores you can choose.Sometimes, the same goods has different quation of price, some quotation which is cheaper than your imagination should be treated carefully. I always don't beleve something cheaper over my estimation, because I am afarid of being cheating. Therefore, you should open your eyes wider to choose a comdeity.

I only shop on Amazon, Overstock and Ebay because I had positive shopping experiences with them. In addition, I do not pay with the credit card and use mostly gift certificates (which came from my survey earnings) as a mode of payment. I use Paypal as well but only if I have a balance. I don't want to start charging my Bank card (which is tied to Paypal) to avoid overspending. This way, I am not afraid that I will be a victim of credit card fraud.

Hi! I strongly agree with you that we need to choose wisely before settling for the item that we want to buy. I have bought clothes, camera, and other items from the internet. So far, I have never came across any seller or websites that cheated me of my money. Too bad it's really hard to access to taobao from my side here as the website loads really really slow and I don't have the patience to wait with a baby at home. Happy online shopping everyone!

If you follow certain rules, then I think internet shopping can be as safe as any other shopping. Only buy from reputable dealers that you know you can get in touch with if you have a problem. Only enter your card details when you can see the 'secure site' symbol in your browser. Shop around to make sure you are getting a good deal, and check feedback from previous customers (especially with eBay).

Actually shopping through the internet can be quite safe is there is a third party overseeing the transactions to avoid scams. Never buy anything from an unknown seller or someone who has a bad reputation. Always ask opinions from the people who has performed transactions with the buyer that you want to buy from. And do it a bit of research about the products before getting them. And it is not recommended if you send the money directly to the seller without using the methods stated in the auction/shopping sites as they won't have the record by doing so. Never reveal any personal information to anyone else on the net. Then you should be fine. I personally think online shopping is fun, easy and convenient. Happy mylotting...

I shop only on ebay since one year and I find it very reliable though. I get what I bid on the site without receiving something else in return of that. And if ever there is an exchange of the products you can always be complaining and thus telling them and they will do the necessary tasks for you.

it depends, you must check the sellers background too if the seller is legit or not. try to check their previous buyer and read their comments or feedback. also check the history of the site. if the site is legit or not. if you have doubts then try to purchase small things first that dont requires a lot of money. then after 1 or 2 successful attempts and delivery then you can go ahead and place bulk or big orders. just be careful of course.

Hey, Well I think that it is sort of safe on the Internet, but you must ensure that you have an anti-phishing filter on your Internet Browser, and a really good Anti-Virus with a great Firewall, then I think you should be all good. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I am real cautious with what sites i make purchases. LIke sites im referred to that i know someone has used quite a bit. Amazon and overstock are two i trust. I also use ebay occasional but thats because they stand behind you if someone doesn't ship your item to you for say. I am picky though with other sites. Better safe then sorry.

I am still skeptical about certain sites to do shopping on. I know if the everyday store has a website. I would usually know it is safe, such as bestbuy.com, walmart.com, target.com, kohls.com, jcpenny.com. I also shop at Ebay and Amazon.
