Hi friends! Many of us get one weekly off i.e. Sunday. We enjoy our Sunday in the best possible manner and make ourselves relaxed and recharged for the next week. However, there may be few lucky ones, for whom 'Everyday is a Sunday'. Are you the one? Do you feel that every day is a Sunday for you? Please share your opinions. Thanks in advance.

Hi Deepak, I think you know about me and I have only one Sunday in a week. My Sunday is always a busy Sunday and the only advantage is I can sleep some more time in morning without the disturbance of an alarm bell. It keeps sometimes lazy and delayed every work unlike a working day. I think working days are good because everything will be doing in a proper manner and in case of food, we can have the food in time. In other words on working days we are organized according to the schedule. I think you got the hint; I don’t want everyday as Sunday.

Hi Sree! Your response reveals that - 'everyday is not Sunday for you due to your work schedule. However, you do enjoy yourself on actual Sundays take the liberarty to get up late. I fully agree with you that on working days we get ready in time and things work as per schedule, however on Sundays, our routine gets disturbed. Many thanks for sharing about you and enriching the post. Deepak

Hi neelima! Oh! It means that even your actual Sunday is not the Sunday for you.. You need to work even on that days like any other day and you just cannot relax yourself. I empathize with you and I feel that for many of the women the Sunday also remains a busy day like any other day because they need to look after their families in a more elaborate way. Many thanks for responding and sharing your thoughts. Deepak

For me not every day is Sunday but I do have more than one 'Sunday' in a week. It varies as my shifts are based on a four week schedule. Twice a month my Sunday is actually on a Sunday but other weeks it could fall on a Tuesday or on a Thursday. There is something about a Sunday though that makes it 'feel' different. Even if I am off on a different day it never is the same as having a Sunday off. Things are quieter on a Sunday and I know that others will be off too whereas if my Sunday is a different day then others will be working and there will be hustle and bustle in town too. Happy Sunday to you mt friend!

Hi mysdiana! It is interesting to know that you have more than one Sunday in a week because of your four days weeks schedule. If your off day falls on other than Sunday, I can understand that it may be a working day for others, which might rob much of your pleasure if you want to see somebody or want to go with somebody on their working day. I think you would have become accustomed to this practice and you would adjusted nicely to this kind of schedule. Have a great Sunday, specially, when it is a off day for you (otherwise too) Deepak

Hi Dpk! I am a house wife, and I would say that I am lucky that I don't have to rush up all the things that I have to do here in the house. I am not working, but I still get up early every morning and have coffee with my Husband and I don't feel everyday is a Sunday, because we have a different weekends here, lol. I don't really feel everyday is a Sunday, because like all the others who works, I also get up early every morning (except when I feel so lazy) and do things in the house, but of course my days are far more easier.

hi dpk my friend, hi, how are you?? i hope you are fine and in good health now.. i am having a great day today and on your topic well yes, Sunday is everyday to me.. Sunday is a special day for our family, this is the time that we can praise our Lord Almighty in the church, the whole Sunday is not enough i think to praise Him.. it really need to do it everyday, 24/7.. but unfortunately people now are not doing it, they have no time to go to church and they also forgets to pray to the Lord, and that is a sad news for me but it's true, and bet you also notice it.. i hope all of us can spend more time to Him and praise Him, not on Sundays only but everyday in our life.. yes i know not all are Christians and we have different beliefs but i still hope for the best.. may GOD bless us all.. hugs and kisses, janebeth.

Hi my dear friend janebeth! I am doing fine. How are you doing? You your reply tells that you enjoy your Sundays to the hilt and you make it a point to visit Church to pray to God. What about others days of the week, do you feel that you remain busy on other days of the week and you cannot treat them like Sunday. Keep enjoying your Sundays. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts. Warm Hugs! Kisses! Deepak

I am those 'unlucky' one whose everyday is a sunday. Why unlucky you asked? I feel bored being imprisoned in the house and nothing much to do. Everyday is the same and sometimes don't even remember what day I am in. The date also becomes meaningless as the 1st of the month and the 30th of the month makes no difference.

Hi Zandi! It means that though every day is Sunday for you, yet it is not like the Sunday(s) one would like to have. You apparently go through similar routine through out the week and you never come to know about the weekend. Please do not say you are unlucky, just keep enjoying each day as it comes to your life because someone has said that "Please enjoy your today, else it will become a waste paper tomorrow, like today's Nesspaper". Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and joining us. Deepak

Everyday is like a sunday kinda as I am mostly a SAHM. However, I do like the weekends of not having to rush the kids out the door, getting all their stuff togeather, breakfast ect.... none of that hassle on the weekends. Though truly my only recharging time is sleeping, the only time it's quiet and pretty peaceful in our home.

Hey dpk! I guess you could kind of say that everyday is sort of Sunday for me! But, I wouldn't exactly say it is! I don't currently work, so in essence maybe some people would think that everyday is Sunday for me! But, I do have appointments to doctors and other things to do during the week whereas on Sundays I don't have. I will sometimes just stay at home on Sundays. On some Sundays I will go shopping with one of my girlfriends just to get out and enjoy the day! But, since Sunday is everyone elses day off it is usually crowded in the stores so I don't always like to go shopping on the weekends when I can sometimes go during the week! I guess it all depends on my mood! I am lucker then most because I do have more of a flexible schedule these days!

Hi Opal! So you accept that everyday is Sunday for you because all the days of week are same for you and it is your own will whether you want to work or relax. You are your own master..........LOL! I can understand that you remain busy during week days and you utilise your time to the fullest. You are right sometimes it does not feel appropirate to go to market on Sundays, because the markets get too croweded and one cannot move and look around, as one would like to be. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I work from home and I do feel I have a lot more freedom than most but I wouldn’t say that every day is Sunday because weekdays entail rushing around in the mornings in order to get my daughter to school and while she is at school and my husband is at work I am on my own which I enjoy but it is definitely not like a Sunday when everybody is here and I have afternoon naps and relax with not much to do once the house chores are finished.

Nope I am not that lucky..Wish I was..In fact my case is worse as sometimes I have to go out of my house for some family work even on Sundays as they generally have to be done on weekends...I prefer to stay at home with my family on Sundays and relax..I guess people for whom every day is Sunday forgets or misses weekdays very badly..I know Mondays are torture but they don't have the fun of Friday....now that's optimism right?

Hi deepak For me everyday is a sunday only. Because according to the shift, some one or the other family memeber will be present in the house. and if one will enter the house, the other will leave for work and by catering to their needs, i will be busy throughout the day.

For me, no. Mondays are definitely not like Sundays. Weekdays are not the same as Sundays because evry member of the family is not at home. Everybody is gone and busy not like Sundays.
