CSI LV: Sarah is back?

I love CSI LV. And as a die hard follower when Grissom left last season I was wondering how they could ever go on. I caught most of last season and was pleasantly surprised by Laurence Fishburne's character and how well he played the role. The opener last night was amazing. The Imagery of the opening scene only had me in awe. CSI has always been known to go into great detail (ex. miniature killer) but last nights opening scene for me anyhow took the cake. And as always CSI does keep you wondering. At first we are convinced that the stalker was the killer. Yet come to find out the Bodyguard to the stars was the real murder. And the bum being the celebs Dad? That wasn't something I was expecting at all. Sara returning was a bit confusing for me. I thought as many did that her and Grissom rode off into the sunset to live a happy "normal" life. I am glad she is back. I do know many fans don't care for her but I have always liked her. But I am a bit off as to why Riley left? What is the need to bring Sarah back and not Grissom? I do thin that CSI can make this season as memorable as any other. The scene with Nick and Sarah picking threw pieces of the deceased Dad was graphic yet not gory enough to stop you from watching. I can't wait til next week already! I do wonder what was in that man's stomach cavity that bewildered L.F. character and Robert David Hall's? Anyone have any ideas? And what did you think of last night's season premier?

O am trying to remember if something happened last season concerning Riley but I don't recall anything. I also don;'t recall any tension between her and Catherine but I could be getting old and forgetting things it wouldn't surprise me I don't think Sarah is here to stay but I seen the promo for next week and she will be on. I can only hope Grissom will make a cameo.

Sadly, I didn't watch the season premiere last night. I did know that Jorja Fox (Sarah) was coming back but not William Petersen (Grissom). How did they write that into the script with her being back and not him? My mom is a big William Petersen fan, so I know why he does not plan on coming back. She said that he was cast in some Broadway shows, and he is loving it. He is having a great time with this phase of his career and wants to continue enjoying what he is doing, at least for the time being. There was no animosity or disagreements that caused him to leave the show, at least none that they are reporting, but he just wanted to try his hand at doing something else.

I heard this too,and Grissom was said by Sarah to be at come convention or something like that. I DVR'd the episode last night and just got to watch it today. Again I decided to skip the nap, don't know how much longer I can keep going without sleep but I will pass up sleep for CSI anytime

I don't think that it got recorded, but I'm gonna check 'cause my parents were watching it last night. I know that they were supposed to be recording "The Mentalist" for me, too. The last time Dad recorded something for me, though, somehow he only managed to tape 38 minutes of it.

It was so crazy, this Russian mob came in and shot up the place and stole a body, then took it to some wood chopper and chopped it up . It was awesome and I can only hope the rest of the season will be this good.

I wonder how long she will stay around? I only like this CSI. I tried the CSI NY and couldn't get into even though I love Gary Sinise. And I never cared for CSI Miami because i don't much like David Caruso not even when he was on NYBD Blue.

I was sad to see Grissom leave as well at the end of last season but I liked that they left it so he could come back as a "guest star" but I didn't think they would bring Sara's character back but I also enjoyed her character in the past and liked her in the season premier. Was it my imagination or did everyone, including Sara, stumble/stutter on the word "husband". It seemed as if it was a weird concept for everyone to think of Sara and Grissom married. I was glad they brought Laurence Fishburne aboard and I feel as if he fits in nicely. I thought it was great when Sara told Catherine that she had everything that Grissom had...except "a Catherine" and then the next thing is Nick getting "promoted". I am still trying to figure out why Riley left and also I didn't get to watch every episode but did she have a problem with Catherine? I too, am very curious as to what was so incredible in the man's stomach that no one knew what it was, it felt like a scene from Aliens was going to happen! Something was going to pop out or something weird. Now I can't wait to see what it is.

Yea I was beginning to wonder if I had missed something about the Riley thing. Although she wasn't my favorite there is always a "hard azz" in every good show. I thought she fit nicely at times and her interaction with Nick was good as well as they were teamed up a time or two. Not sure if they will explain this,or show anything about the wedding between Grissom and Sarah. I think Sarah and everyone else were having a hard time with it because no one really saw Grissom as a marrying kind. He was more a bit off beat and a loner in many aspects.

I am glad to see Sarah Back, and I was surprised to hear that her an Grissom were married. I don't remember that taken place last season, or I might have missed it. I am beginning to like the actor that has taken Grissom's place, a little more each time I watch the show. I think he actually has more empathy, more depth in his acting that Grissom had. Grissom was sexy and gentle in his own way, which attracted many viewers...but this actor, has more depth.

Laurence Fishburne has always been a very talented actor, but compared to Grissom many of us fans didn't know how to take him coming on to the show. I myself have found he does fit in very well with the cast and he does has some quirks about him as well.
