This movie is by far one of the best football movies ever made. I've seen this movie so many times and it never dissapoints. Denzel Washington plays an amazing roll as coach Herman Boone. What makes this movie so great though isn't even the acting in it, but the fact that it is a true story. At a time where there were racial barriers, to see them broken down and people come together over something like football is amazing to see. Then again I can't say I'm surprised at the power sports has over people. African nations stop fighting and war when something like the World Cup comes on and they let their respective teams play out then after the game they go back to war with each other. Nelson Mandella (I don't know if I spelt is last name right) united is country with the World Cup Soccer team. The movie just reminds us how maybe if only a for a split second everyone can come together and join together to accomplish something great. There have been other movies such as Friday Night Lights, Varsity Blues, and Coach Carter, but to me Remember the Titains rules all. What is your favorite sports movies?

I think this movie is just one of the best movies...ever. It deals with so much more than just sports. It's about racism, about life, about tolerance and open-mindedness and friendship and overcoming discrimination and teamwork.. I LOVE this movie. It's extremely touching to me how Julian and Gary eventually become best buds after an extremely rocky start. So touching. I think I cry every time I watch this. And yes, I do agree with you, Denzel Washington is an amazing actor in this film. Another sports-related movie that's good, but not as good as Remember the Titans obviously - is Bend it Like Beckham, Bring it On, and Center Stage.
