I have never had it, but mine does freeze up alot, and I have a cooler and everything else for it. I just don't know why it is doing that. Other than that I am very happy with my 360

I don't know if I have an old one, or not, I bought it about a year ago at Best Buy. I am looking at getting a ps3, but I heard the on-line sucks, and not many people are on. I do like the amount of games on the 360, and I do really like the on-line aspects of it, but if the ps3 is that without all of the problems, then sign me up.

I figured it would help having both systems because you get the best of both world.. Just incase one has problems, you can just move to another one and get your game on.. They both have there ups and downs for me.. So I just use both when ever I can.

I would recommend taking the cooler off. all it does is use more of your PS and cause your xbox to Red Ring again

So far so good, I have never experienced it. However, I did have to go through 6 xbox360's to get one that actually worked right off the bat. Six!!!

Thankfully I was able to refund each one. It just was a pain to have to do it. I was too stubborn to just call its quits

Hehe, nice question there, ive seen that f%"#ing ring 3 times, and now with my 4th 360 im expiriencing some problems, arrr, altough ill not buy a ps3 i hate play station! xd . Cheers :)

Yup, everyone who has owned a 360 has experienced alot of hardware problems.. I am not a fan of either but comparing the hardware systems, the ps3 has never gave me any errors and problems till this day.

lol 5. 5+ and more. luckily for me i work for a console modification and repairs company so i can repair them myself. last christmas i had to fix over 200 console that red ringed and had no waranty. i've even had a console banned from live because it was modded. now if you have seen the pic i upload in this thread you will see that i have done a custom xbox 360 so i will NEVER get red rings again. I included so much more internal cooling and had a temperature monitor in it

It has only flashed 3 red lights once and when I saw that I quickly turned it off. I don't know what that means but it still works. I also don't play games more than two hours or so. If it does die I will be mad. My brother has gone through lots of xbox's and playstations back in the day and I hope not to have the same thing happen.

Never! i'm happy. i think its because i got about a year ago so they probably fixed most of the problems that caused the ring by then. a friend of mine had his for over 2 years before it happened to him.
