OKay, so im actually crying out of frustration after being on the phone with Bell for the past hour and getting no where. I never deal with our local store. Theyre idiots. They tell you things you can do then you call head office and they say they cant do it (head office lies alot to drain money out of you) The employee said to call head office and get the connection fee waived becuase he did it and other ppl do it (head office says its physically impossible.. ooops...look who lied again;) Ive had so many problems with this company. My bills supposed to be 40 bucks and always comes back 150 bucks. why? cuase they're stupid. I have a my 5 where i get to do unlimited texting and calling to 5 people. When I change my 5 they forgot to save it and i got charged over 100 bucks. Bell said they had no proof that they didnt save it right so I had to pay. Whoa look at that? no proof. Idiots. My phone broke and was unusable with still 6 months left in the contract. To my luck, the warranty ended just less than a month before it broke. How did that happen? I called cancellation twice and it ended up being cheaper if I just paid the lowest monthly bill I could then cancelling. So thats what I did, he said after my contract was done, that it would be all over with. So my contract ends in july, and i get an e-bill today for 78 dollars. Although the person said I didnt have to worry about it after july..apparently I didnt give a 30-60 day cancellation notice so I have to pay. They also said since it takes 30 days to cancel it.. Ooopsss theres another monthly bill I have to pay. So three months of a phone bill I have to pay because someone at head office told me I didnt have to worry about cancelling. Because of their mistake, thats three months of a phonebiill. (to a phone I havent been able to use for 6 months). Money going towards nothing. Not like I have much, I get payed minimum wage, thats ALOT of money going towards absoluitely nothing. So I switched to Koodo Mobile (which is an absolute AMAZING company I may add-go switch to koodo) I have had soo many problems with bell, and everyone else I know who was with them switched because they had to many problems to. For your sakkeeeeee people, boycott bell! They take your money and dont give a $H!T about you!!! There are so many better companies out there Id be glady to give you info about as long as you dont give bell the satisfaction of getting your money!!!

I'm not a big Bell fan either :) I used to have a Bell Mobility cell years ago but now I strictly do pay as you go with Telus. I can't be bothered with the plans and bills and unexpected increases for services I never asked for, etc. Contracting for a cell phone pretty much guarantees that you are always going to pay more than you think when you sign up, i.e., a $40 plan is never going to be $40. Just from my perspective, though, I'd trust what the head office tells you versus anything that a sales rep in the local store has to say. I don't find them reliable at all... some are new and don't seem to have their facts straight and I find they try to tell you what you want to hear. I had trouble with our local Bell outlet over my satellite service. Anyway, with the My5 thing - are you sure, sure that you didn't change your 5 more often than your plan allowed in the same month? If that happened, they wouldn't have made the change that you requested. My daughter is with Koodo now and she says they are the same... only one change allowed in your 5 during each billing cycle. Just a word of caution... ANY time you sign a contract for a cell phone, no matter who the provider is, never just assume it's going to run out at the end of the term. Most of them will renew automatically unless you specifically give them instructions to cancel (and within the time frame that they request). That's not just Bell... that applies to just about any contract. Once they have you on a regular plan, they are not going to let you go unless you cut it off yourself. Payment plans are guaranteed income for them and they are businesses, after all. Yet another reason I only do pay as you go now. LOL Anyway, I hope you have much better luck with Koodo... my daughter is the same age as you, according to your profile, and she loves them. She made a little misstep at first by getting a new phone on their "tab" because it looked like such a great deal... a percentage of your monthly payment goes towards paying back the tab. I told her she better love that phone for 5 years because that's actually how long it will take it to be paid off, by the way they have it set up. She's learned now about the "if something looks to good to be true, it probably is"... but she still loves their service. Only problem is a couple of days every month, like clockwork, where text and voice messages don't go through on time. They show up hours and hours later or the next day. This happens consistently with all her friends on Koodo also. Anyway, good luck to you! Hope you like them! :)

I like the tab actually...cause bell charges you 20bucks or every month you have left or aleast a minimun of 100 ucks cancelation so if you have your phone for like two years and want to cancel (depending on how much her contract price is, the cancellation fee is alwys less than ay other provider
