Milk is essential for a good health as it contains calcium for the bones but we tend to drink tea, coffee and soft drinks. WE never substitute these for a cup of milk. I give my children a glass of milk everyday before they go to bed. It also helps to get a good sleep....Try it and see...

Thank you for the advice. Yes, drinking milk is good for health. I don't get to drink milk every day, but two or three times a week. But, I drink coffe with milk every time. That would also help to some extent any way. It would be good for the children to drink milk, indeed. You are taking care of your children very well. Have a nice day !

Greenline, it is never a good idea to mix milk with tea when you do because they would clash against each other. I have read recent study where the calcium in cow milk is not good to have in your tea. When I do drink tea, I NEVER have them in my tea. I'm chinese and if you know any chinese people that are raised the chinese way, we never stick milk in them. Honey is fine to add for more sweetness to it. I know not everyone likes tea but teas are good. Green tea even have proven that it helps people lose weight as well as make the body stronger as well and helps fight colds when you drink them during that time. Anyway, not sure if you know about it. Research about the topic if you want but I just thought you should know that having cows milk in your tea is not good at all.

The problems associated with milk comes when it is pasteurized. Raw mils is very healthy. You could actually live on it, but most definitely not on pasteurized milk. A lot of goodness gets removed and actually causes problems with a lot of people. Raw milk is outlawed in some parts of the world, which is a pity. Negative consequences of pasteurized milk is much much more than you will ever get from raw milk.

It's true. Not only it's best for children in growing up, but also for the elderly. I remember when we were still very young, we lived in a village where it was still fresh with greenery and a friend of my parents from a nearby farm would always give us some fresh cow milk. When we moved to the city, my mom still bought those milks in cartons and as I was aware of its benefits and the milky taste, I made up some good stories so that my younger sis would also drink the milk. She did, but now when we are all grown up, we seldom drink milk. I guess this is a reminder for us to drink milk once in a while for our health being. Thanks!

I drink milk almost every day, but only at home. I never go out to eat and order a glass of milk. I don't know why. I do like coffee and soft drinks too, but I know that just having that little bit of calcium can improve your health so much.

Yes, I drink milk every day at night to drink, of course, is the best time. The morning you can, but not fasting. But the change in the 1-2 hours after breakfast, drinking milk, some food to prevent the fasting stomach milk shortcomings; Drink milk before taking the larger number of starchy foods such as bread, etc.; At the same time when the morning to drink milk eat bun, rice, bread, biscuits, sweets and other starchy foods, it will give the milk to stay longer in the human stomach, milk and juice to take full effect occurring enzyme, so that protein can be a good digestion and absorption.

Milk is ready good for our bodies. But there are some cases that can worsen an illness. For those having gall stones and kidney stones, milk is not good for them. It can calcified and can form stones. It really helps in having a good night sleep and keep our bones strong and intact.
