Ok someone please explain this to me? I am reading in my parenting magazine about ages and stages and I ran into this article. My so must fit in the category as he is 10 years old. Turns out it's a great article. It talked about preteens and the way they used modern technology, such as cellphones, spaces on line; my space, twitter, face book, just to name a few. It also had some helpful tips that I know I will keep in mind. - Make sure you agree upon limits. - keep talking to your child don't let them learn things on line. It may be incorrect information. - Just face the fact that tweens argue more than you think.

your son does fit in this category. It is just what we all used to call preteens, 10, 11, and 12. The term I haven't figured out yet is pretween.
