I would like to watch this movie but I am not sure if this is a good horror movie just like the previous two installments. Is this really terrifying or not? Thanks

Let me put it this way, I saw it less than a month ago and I hardly remember it, that's how great it was. Have you seen the Japanese originals? Much better movies.

It's the first Grudge that came straight to DVD and it kinda surprised me because it's as good (or should I rather say as bad) as the first too. This is the first time they replaced the original ghosts Kayako and Toshio with new actors (they've been in both Japanese and English versions). If you liked the first 2, go ahead and watch it. You won't be disappointed. But you should check original Japanese Ju-on movies. They are much better (and scarier) than remakes

Thanks for your nice information. I always believe that Japanese horror films are the best compared to English versions, now I am hesitating to watch Grudge 3.

I've watched 1 and 2 but didn't even know they came out with a 3. The movies are allright although I won't let my Nephew watch them when he stays the night b/c they are too graphic. They seem to have a different basis to them then the movies made in the US...I understand they were made in one of the oriental areas...not sure which one. Perhaps they just have a different sense of horror and fear then we do but they are good movies. !!Happy Halloween!! ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

Hi jlameala, Though I like to watch movie not all those horror and action packed ones. My taste is quite different. I seek depiction of real life in the movie not superman like or the Rambo like. It should be life like reflecting some or the other part of our life. No I have not seen that movie and thee is least possibility that I would. but you can not predict.

I also seen the past two Grudges movies and I was impressed because it was really horrifying, well when it comes to horror movies, there's no doubt that Japanese and Korean films really excel above all.
