I prefer the classics. They wheren't just about zombies killing people, it was always somehow something we did to ourselves. The original Godzilla was not about a giant lizard, it was about the man's interfeance with nature and the consequences that come from it.

Despite what every one else thought of it, I really liked The Others. No blood, no monsters, creepy, bizarre things going on. And honestly, I really didn't see the end coming until she walked in that room.

Let me put it this way, I saw it less than a month ago and I hardly remember it, that's how great it was. Have you seen the Japanese originals? Much better movies.

I decorate the front pourch and yard. Ghost, scarecrows, witches, a grim reaper, spiderwebs the whole thing. Quite a lot of it stays up all year.

I live in a very small Baptist town. Seriously, there's like 100 kids here and that's it. Until I showed up, yard displays consitted of a few white trash bags tied to tree branches as ghosts and a couple of jack o lanterns. I remember that one, it was something like The Secret Room, or The Vanishing Room. I like Tinman. They should stick to mini series and regular series, like Eureka and Warehouse 13.

The ring, the grudge, the univited, all remakes of Japanese horror. I suggest Gwai wiki, or Recycle. Creepy, strange, disturbing, WTF is going on moments. Very cool.

You can also etch the glass at home. I don't know where you live or if you know these stores, but you can buy a set of glass plates at Walmart for $20. And then get a roll of clear vinyl drawer liner. The kind that is sticky on one side. Then got to Hobby Lobby, or Michaels, and buy a jar of gless etching solution.
