And it's off to the operating room we go

A really sad and dramatic ending of today's episode with them wheeling brain dead Colleen and barely hanging on Victor to operating room for the transplant. The families all gathered and watching them go were very touching. What I want to know is, are Colleen's other organs going to people who need them? There should be teams standing by to preserve and transport kidneys, liver, etc.

I remember someone did say something to the effect that Colleen was going to save many lives so that did seem to be confirmation that Colleen's other organs would be donated as well and presumably will go to people on the waiting list. Tracy faced a really tough choice. On one hand, it really does seem unfair that Victor Newman of all people would get Colleen's heart...but how could the Abbotts say no after Nikki had broached the subject? Victor was too important a character to lose anyway, but I still don't like how the Abbotts are practically being absorbed (even literally!) by the Newmans! Now Tracy has no living children, Jack doesn't have a relationship with any of his children, and Ashley's only child Abby is a Newman. Billy may be the family's only hope.

The main transplant which the writers are concern with is Colleen heart going to Victor. Maybe later something will happen and then we will hear that one of her other organs was donate to save that life. It hard to tell what they will do next.
