Do you ever use price comparison websites to choose your car insurance?

There are an increasing number of car insurance comparison websites advertising on TV and on the internet and they all promise to make you more savings than their competitors. With this large number of competitors, does it matter which one you use? Have you used them before? Does it really save you money or just increase insurance cost as they have to pay a fee to the comparison website? What do you think?
