Friends do the following steps and increase the speed of your computer: 1)click start- run 2)Run dialog box appears type temp and press OK 3)you will find the window that opens temporary files of your programs 4)select All and delete those files. 5) again go to run dialog box, now type %temp% and ok Do the same procedure. 6)Again go to run dialog box, type prefetch and press OK Again do the same procedure. Those files will decrease the speed of your computer.

Hi cognoscentthelegend, I know the %temp% and temp procedure.May i know what is prefetch.I don't know this concept already.Thanks for posting this information.

i don't this needs to be discussed here since you already provided the procedures. a lot of programs can do the task much more precise.

so what is the point of discussion here. bye the way u can do one more thing,keep ur system drive(normally C:/) as blank as u can. this will also increase ur pc's speed. do one more thing download a software named tune up utilities(i hope u have that).Using that SW u can increase ur PC's speed again. best of luck.
